Super fun and a bit mindfuck
I've been so lucky to test this product, and what a strange experience. To put it this way, don't set it anywhere else but in the bathroom, almost so my partner thought it was cream to eat 😂 Funny and nice packaging, really looks like whipped cream in a bottle! Mild and a bit weaker pear scent than expected. As someone with sensitive skin, but otherwise quite normal skin, I always feel a bit anxious about new products, Are they really for sensitive skin? And this one I can vouch for that it is🎉 Pleasant mousse/"cream", not exactly moisturizing but it didn't dry me out either. Totally okay, but at the same time a fun concept. Boring
Gives 2 stars for nice packaging and lovely consistency, but unfortunately, that’s where the positive experience ends for me. I think the foam smells very little to nothing, and definitely not like pear. I really like that the shower gel smells strong enough to linger on the skin after the shower - like Rituals and Molton Brown, to name a few. This foam smells almost like nothing upon application (I shake it before using just to be safe). It is very economical to use and will probably last a long time, but I find myself thinking it’s a bummer every time I use it in the shower, so we’ll see if it gets replaced or used up… Additionally, my skin feels a bit tight after use. I have other scents in the cabinet from Sundae that I hope are better. Had high expectations regarding the price especially, but this was a total miss. Caused "allergic" reaction
The scent was lovely, but using this made my skin start to itch and turn red like crazy. Funny concept, but…
You really get the feeling of lathering up with cream from a spray can, it's almost confusing, but very funny! 😅 I've been using it daily for almost 3 months now, so it's long-lasting, especially as a shower foam! Other than that, I wasn't very impressed, unfortunately. It was a bit difficult to get the product out both at the beginning and now as I approach the end. It required unnecessarily much effort to get the soap out, I think. 😅 Unlike other shower foams I've tried, I feel like the foam "puffs up" as soon as it comes into contact with water, so I always have to be careful to stay away from the water stream when I lather up, which is also a bit unnecessary to think about while showering. I also felt sticky after every time I used it, just like I hadn't rinsed the product off properly, even though I obviously did, and it was a bit uncomfortable, I didn't feel completely clean afterward. The biggest disappointment was the smell. I fluctuated a bit between thinking it smelled like grass or some kind of household cleaner. Definitely didn't smell anything like juicy pear! Fun concept!
On a mission as #LYKOINFLUTESTER for the newly launched brand here #SUNDAE I had the honor of testing this scent Juicy Pear and Green tea from the same brand, be sure to check out that review too! I was extremely excited when I saw that I would get to test this product, mainly for the concept but also because it is marketed to suit dry and sensitive skin, which I have. My first impression was that the packaging was larger than I expected and so fun, they really look like a spray whipped cream can! Same spray mechanism that was a bit hard to get going the first time since you had to press quite hard! This particular scent I was most looking forward to testing as it sounded like a very fresh and fruity scent, and this bottle was the prettiest of the two I received, maybe because light green is my favorite color. I have had the chance to test this product for about 1 week now. The first impression of the product upon use was that its consistency reminded me a lot of cream that melted a bit, alternatively cream mixed with shaving foam. It was very smooth and soft, and you could get far with a little product, I did use more though because I thought it was so fun that it looks like cream. When you rinse off the product, it doesn't feel like you've soaped your body in, which is different from so many other shower gels I've tried before. I don't really know what to think about that, it's both positive not to have a "sticky and greasy" film feeling, but unfortunately, the "just showered" and fresh feeling disappears since it feels like the product doesn't really do anything after rinsing off. However, the fairly mild scent makes you still feel relatively fresh afterward. However, I don't feel that the fresh feeling lasts as long as, for example, a regular shower gel from Nivea, Dove, etc., when you've dried off. On the other hand, you do notice that "moisturizing" property when you've dried off. I, who have a large tattoo on my arm that can look a bit crispy when the skin is a bit dry, immediately noticed that my skin was much softer, which is a big plus for me as I don't like to slather on too rich creams right after a shower as it feels uncomfortable. The scent was nothing that stood out in this product, it was quite subtle which is perfect if you are going to use perfume, this particular scent was very fresh, and I would say that the description of the scent is accurate. A slightly warmer fresh scent! In summary, this product is perfect for those who don't like rich products and get an uncomfortable feeling from a kind of "film" on the skin after use. Additionally, it is perfect if you don't like strong scents. For me, this product was neither something I hate nor love, I will continue to use it until it runs out and see if I change my mind. The most positive thing for me was that my skin was very soft afterward, and that is something I miss with regular shower gels. But then I want to praise the cream concept as it makes showering much more fun!2335 views
