Sensitive Skin
Hi! I wonder if this product is okay to use if you have sensitive acne-prone skin with hormonal acne and a lot of acne scars?💕74 views- The user's roll: Skin therapist at Lyko. The comment was made 2 daysHi Matilda, Yes, azelaic acid is a good ingredient if you have sensitive acne-prone skin with scars. One tip to keep in mind is: Use in the morning and/or evening. Apply to dry skin. Can be spot treated as well. Gently massage with your fingertips until the product is fully absorbed. If sensitive, start with every other evening to acclimate the skin - feel free to mix with the cream! Combine with the cream above. Try first on a smaller area. Do not combine with other active products in the same routine. Wishing you a nice day! ✨

In the same routine as L'Oréal Paris Revitalift Laser Tri-Peptides Serum?
Hi! I wonder if you can use this Azelaic acid serum from The Inkey List in the same routine as L'Oréal Paris Revitalift Laser Tri-Peptides Serum? And if so, which serum should you use first, and should you wait any special time before applying the other serum? If you can't use them in the same routine, why? Thanks in advance for the answer! ☺️166 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 1 weekHey Emma! 😊👋 I recommend that you do not use The INKEY List Azelaic Acid 10% Serum and L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Laser Tri-Peptides Serum in the same routine. The reason is that azelaic acid should not be combined with vitamin C, which is found in the L’Oréal serum. If you want to separate them, you can use the L’Oréal serum in the morning and finish with moisturizer and SPF, while using The INKEY List serum in the evening with moisturizer 🤍🥰 All the best!

Together with other products
Can this be used together with Ole Henriksen's Detox drops 2% salicylic acid anti-blemish toner and goodnight glow?799 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 2 monthsHey Inger-Anne! 😊 Yes, you can use the products together, but it's wise to have a bit of structure to avoid irritation. Here’s a suggestion on how you can set up your routine: Morning: Cleanse → (optional) Azelaic Acid serum → moisturizer → SPF. Evening (alternate): Cleanse → Detox Drops → moisturizer; or Cleanse → Goodnight Glow alone, without BHA the same night. Start slowly with Azelaic Acid (3–4 nights a week) and gradually increase. Avoid using BHA + AHA + azelaic acid in the same night for the first few weeks to prevent irritation. Have a nice day!

azelaic acid and peptides
Hey! Can you use this together with the cosrx 6 peptide skin booster? I've heard that you should be careful with azelaic acid and copper peptides.700 views- The user's roll: Farmaceut på Lyko. The comment was made 2 monthsHi Emma😊 Thanks for your question✨ It's really great that you're double-checking when you feel uncertain, and yes, you can use both – but not at the same time. Azelaic acid and peptides work best when used at different times, as the acidic pH level of azelaic acid can affect the effectiveness of the peptides. It's best to use azelaic acid in the morning and peptides in the evening, or alternate between them on different days. Keep an eye on your skin and adjust if you notice irritation. Don't forget sunscreen during the day! Hope the answer can be helpful and that you have a super nice Friday🎉2 likes

Hi, does this serum work together with omega water cream?1058 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 3 monthsHello there Julia! 👋😍 Yes! It works well to combine this with The Inkey List Omega Water Cream Moisturizer 50 ml🙌 If you want to combine these, I would recommend applying this (the serum) first and letting it absorb for 1-2 minutes, then "locking in" the moisture with the omega water cream😊 Take care!1 likes

Hi!
Can I use Midik8's Retinal in combination with this product?1632 views- The user's roll: Farmaceut på Lyko. The comment was made 5 monthsHey thuycha91 😊 Thanks for your question✨ I do not recommend using The Inkey List Azelaic Acid and Medik8 Retinal in the same routine, as both are active ingredients and can cause irritation together. A good setup is to use azelaic acid in the morning (with sunscreen!) and retinal in the evening, or on completely different evenings. This way, the skin gets the best possible effect – without being overloaded. Always wait and see how your skin reacts, preferably via a patch test first. Hope the answer can be helpful and that you have a super nice day🌞1 likes

Perioral Dermatitis ⚡️
I have tried this product for a longer time (was careful at first, started with once a week, increased the frequency over time), and have been very careful to check which skin products I can combine this product with. I have been recommended Azelaic Acid for perioral dermatitis (I mostly have outbreaks in the winter). I have also had problems with pimples related to menstruation, and wanted to see if this product could help. The pimple outbreaks triggered by hormones got somewhat better with this product. Unfortunately, it made my perioral dermatitis worse. It burned, itched, and I became redder in the areas where I have dermatitis. I tried to use it less frequently, but it still didn’t get better. Everyone's skin and skin issues are different, but unfortunately it didn’t work for me. But I am very happy that it worked for other blemished skin! I felt no burning, itching, or irritation elsewhere on my face! 😄🌟 I think this might be a good product for those who struggle with acne (which is actually not the same as perioral dermatitis, I learned when I got the dermatitis diagnosis) as long as they introduce the product little by little for the sensitive skin we humans have on our faces ☺️ #lykoreview1750 views - The post was made 7 monthsRating: 5 out of 5verified customer
