Very satisfied
Very good product. The best azelaic acid I have tried. I have rosacea and The Inkey List's azelaic acid is the only thing that has reduced the redness.1295 views - The post was made 2 daysRating: 1 out of 5
Terrible
Absolutely the worst product I've tried. I developed very severe rashes and then perioral dermatitis. It felt like my face was going to burn up, and I've been trying to restore my skin since I tried it in November until now. Really unfortunate since it seems to have worked so well for others 🥹36 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 1 dayHi Rebecka! 🌸 Thank you for sharing your experience 💛 It really sounds like your skin reacted strongly, and I understand the disappointment since, as you say, it seems to work for others. Although azelaic acid is often recommended for sensitive, redness-prone, or acne-prone skin, skin can react very differently to active ingredients, especially if the skin barrier is already weakened or if the product is introduced alongside other active ingredients. Perioral dermatitis can have many different triggers, and it’s good that you have stopped using it. I hope your skin has calmed down now. If you don’t have a skincare routine that works well for you already, I can recommend that you email our skin therapist at hudterapeuten@lyko.com so you can look into it together 📧 Otherwise, I hope you find what works best for your skin 🧡

Makeup over
Does it work well under makeup? I read that another product with this acid can cause some peeling, so I'm wondering about this one.279 views- The user's roll: Lyko Creator. The comment was made 2 weeksHi Anny 😊 This generally works very well under makeup compared to many other azelaic acid products, as the formula is light and not as silicone-heavy. For best results, we recommend applying a thin layer on dry skin and letting the product absorb for a minute before applying SPF and makeup. However, if you use a lot of product or many layers of skincare on top of each other, there is still a risk that the product may pill a bit under makeup. Have a great day! 🌼1 likes

Question
How should I structure my skincare routine (i.e., what should I use when) if I use this product along with retinol, a moisturizer with niacinamide, glycolic acid toner, and vitamin C? And of course SPF335 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 3 weeksHello Hanna!☺️ You can absolutely use all of these together 🤍 The most important thing is just not to use too many strong active ingredients in the same routine, as the skin can easily become irritated. I would recommend vitamin C, azelaic acid, your niacinamide moisturizer, and SPF in the morning ☀️ Azelaic acid works very well with both vitamin C and niacinamide. In the evening, I would use retinol together with moisturizer, but avoid glycolic acid the same evening because that combination can easily be too strong. You can instead use the glycolic acid toner 1-2 evenings a week when you are not using retinol 😊 And definitely continue with SPF every day ☁️ All the best!

So far so good
For my sensitive acne-prone skin, it has been great, haven't seen any direct difference on the skin yet, but at least it didn't react405 views - The post was made 1 monthRating: 5 out of 5verified customer
Hormonal Acne
Helped me quite well with hormonal acne, especially when I first started using it in the evenings and eventually with a double cleanse morning and night!875 views - Rating: 5 out of 5
Pleasant
This effective serum immediately soothes red and irritated skin while actively working to reduce blemishes and even out skin texture. The lightweight formula also contains micro shimmer that gives the skin a more even tone with an instant glow, making it a perfect savior for reactive problem skin.1038 views - The post was made 2 months
Morning or evening
Is this mainly meant for the morning since it has green particles to hide redness, or does it also work best as an active serum while you sleep?☺️1065 views- The user's roll: Lyko Creator. The comment was made 1 monthHi Lena 😊 This can absolutely be used both morning and evening. The green pigments help to visually neutralize redness immediately upon application, which makes it especially nice in the morning. At the same time, azelaic acid is an active ingredient that works therapeutically over time, so you get results whether you use it during the day or at night. Have a great day! 💌 If it feels good on your skin, you can use it in both routines, otherwise it works just as well to use it in only one of them 💛1 likes

Sensitive Skin
Hi! I wonder if this product is okay to use if you have sensitive acne-prone skin with hormonal acne and a lot of acne scars?💕2172 views- The user's roll: Lyko Creator. The comment was made 3 monthsHi Matilda, Yes, azelaic acid is a good ingredient if you have sensitive acne-prone skin with scars. One tip to keep in mind is: Use in the morning and/or evening. Apply to dry skin. Can be spot treated as well. Gently massage with your fingertips until the product is fully absorbed. If sensitive, start with every other evening to acclimate the skin - feel free to mix with the cream! Combine with the cream above. Try first on a smaller area. Do not combine with other active products in the same routine. Wishing you a nice day! ✨1 likes

In the same routine as L'Oréal Paris Revitalift Laser Tri-Peptides Serum?
Hi! I wonder if you can use this Azelaic acid serum from The Inkey List in the same routine as L'Oréal Paris Revitalift Laser Tri-Peptides Serum? And if so, which serum should you use first, and should you wait any special time before applying the other serum? If you can't use them in the same routine, why? Thanks in advance for the answer! ☺️1825 views- The user's roll: Lyko Creator. The comment was made 3 monthsHey Emma! 😊👋 I recommend that you do not use The INKEY List Azelaic Acid 10% Serum and L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Laser Tri-Peptides Serum in the same routine. The reason is that azelaic acid should not be combined with vitamin C, which is found in the L’Oréal serum. If you want to separate them, you can use the L’Oréal serum in the morning and finish with moisturizer and SPF, while using The INKEY List serum in the evening with moisturizer 🤍🥰 All the best!

Together with other products
Can this be used together with Ole Henriksen's Detox drops 2% salicylic acid anti-blemish toner and goodnight glow?2172 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 5 monthsHey Inger-Anne! 😊 Yes, you can use the products together, but it's wise to have a bit of structure to avoid irritation. Here’s a suggestion on how you can set up your routine: Morning: Cleanse → (optional) Azelaic Acid serum → moisturizer → SPF. Evening (alternate): Cleanse → Detox Drops → moisturizer; or Cleanse → Goodnight Glow alone, without BHA the same night. Start slowly with Azelaic Acid (3–4 nights a week) and gradually increase. Avoid using BHA + AHA + azelaic acid in the same night for the first few weeks to prevent irritation. Have a nice day!
