Combine the ordinary
Can you use this together with The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% and when in the skincare routine should it be applied? 🤗1486 views- Skin therapist at Lyko1 weekHey Jonna! Without knowing more about your skin, you can combine them, but I would recommend getting your skin used to them first one at a time. So start with one first so it doesn't become too much for your skin with both at once. A few drops of niacinamide and let it absorb, then retinol and possibly a cream. Take care 🤗

Is it correct that you do -Cleansing -The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 -Retinol 0.5% -La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Balm B5+ Or should I change something?997 views- Customer service at Lyko2 weeksHey Johanna! 🌟👋 This order is going to be super great if you want to incorporate retinol into your routine. 🥰 Just remember to use it in your evening routine and to gradually introduce it to your skin to avoid any reactions. 🌟 Take care! ❄️

White Stretch Marks
Can you use the serum for white stretch marks?3018 views- Farmaceut på Lyko2 weeksHey Zozo✨ Retinol is known for its positive effects on skin health as it can help improve skin texture, increase collagen production, and thereby also reduce the visibility of stretch marks. This serum can therefore help with that. However, if your stretch marks are caused by pregnancy and you are still breastfeeding, you should wait until after this period as retinol should not be used during pregnancy/breastfeeding🤰🏽 Here’s another alternative that is okay to use instead in that case: lyko.com/en/skincare/skin-condition/body/stretch-marks/maria-akerberg-lovely-mother-body-oil 🎉 I hope you find an alternative that works well for you and that you have a lovely day❄️1 likes

Oily retinol + acne-prone skin = ?
I have acne-prone skin and can have some oily areas on my face. I'm scared that this retinol (which is an oil) would worsen the acne? Because oils do clog pores that then turn into pimples, right? :) Thanks in advance!2060 views- Customer service at Lyko2 monthsHey Sanna! In what order?
Hi! I'm going to try this retinol serum (I've used another brand). Is this the right order for my products: Morning: Micellar water C vitamin serum Niacinamide serum Moisturizer Evening: Cleansing Micellar water Salicylic acid serum 2 times a week Hyaluronic acid toner Retinol serum Moisturizer I'm unsure about the order of c vitamin and niacinamide in the morning and the order of salicylic acid-hyaluronic acid-retinol in the evening. (Note: I do not use salicylic acid and retinol on the same evening). I'm also wondering if it will be too much oil-based in the evening with both the ordinary oil-based salicylic acid Salicylic Acid 2% Anhydrous Solution and the retinol from the ordinary Retinol 0.5% in Squalane which is also oil-based. I have dry skin.3353 views- Customer service at Lyko4 monthsHey Niki!👋🏻🤍 I would definitely say that this routine can work well for your skin.🌱 If the C-vitamin and Niacinamide are from The Ordinary, I wouldn’t recommend using them in the same routine as they can clash with each other. A tip is to split them into different morning routines🤩 If they are from another brand, it might be fine to combine them, but feel free to test it out to see if your skin is sensitive 🤍 Retinol and salicylic acid should not be used in the same routine but on different nights of the week, so it shouldn’t be too much oil.❤️ Since you have dry skin, it might be good to use something moisturizing, but also remember to give your skin a break from acids sometimes so it doesn’t get too much🤧❤️ Take care!1 likes

The OrdinaryRetinol 0.5% in Squalane 30 ml
This water-free solution contains 0.5% Retinol, a well-studied ingredient that aims to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and textural irregularities. While Retinol has been studied extensively, it can be irritating to the skin for first-time users and requires a build up of skin tolerance. For this reason, we generally recommend using Granactive Retinoid 2% or Granactive Retinoid 5% for first-time users. This formula also offers hydrating benefits due to the presence of Squalane.
The Ordinary’s portfolio of retinoids includes the following formulations:
Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion (Moderate Strength, No Irritation)
Granactive Retinoid 5% in Squalane (High Strength, No to Low Irritation)
Retinol 0.2% in Squalane (Low Strength, Moderate Irritation)
Retinol 0.5% in Squalane (Moderate Strength, High Irritation)
Retinol 1% in Squalane (High Strength, Very High Irritation) Note: When pregnant or breastfeeding, it is recommended to avoid any skincare products containing retinoids such as formulations with Granactive Retinoid or Retinol.
Apply a small amount to face in the PM as part of your skincare regimen, after water serums but before heavier treatments. Do not use with other retinoid treatments. Avoid unprotected solar exposure. Store in a cool, dry place.
