I have been testing this serum for about 3 weeks now and it is really lovely! Botox/fillers in a bottle might be a little much to say, but! I still think I see a certain difference, especially under the eyes! πββοΈ I use the serum as the last step, that is to say over my face/moisturizer and only where I want to βplumpβ the skin! A lovely, oily consistency that I really like! I will continue to use it and hopefully see even more results going forward! βΊοΈπ #lykocreator #lykoreview #theordinary - Most helpful negativeThe user's roll: Lyko Creator. Not for my skin πΈ
It's rare that I give two stars or less when reviewing products, but this one has not been for me. π₯² First, a little about my skin: -dry - glowy - milia that comes and goes - fine lines around the eyes - freckles - needs moisture This concentrated serum is supposed to plump the skin significantly and increase fullness in the skin. I had high expectations for this one, but unfortunately, it doesn't work on my skin. It gives me no wow effect and actually triggers my milia around the eye area, which is sad because it gives a really nice glow, and I can feel that it temporarily plumps upon application. I can imagine that visible results will come after longer use, but since I get milia from it, I simply don't want to use it anymore. What I quickly learned was that it takes incredibly little product; at first, I used way too much π , so the bottle lasts a long time, which is a plus for those of you it works for! If I want a smoother effect, I will continue to use Peter Thomas Roth's eye cream, which makes my fine lines disappear temporarily π€ What makes it get two stars and not one; the serum gives a nice glow and doesn't curl under makeup, which many serums can do. And to those of you it works for: I'm jealous π€£π«ΆπΌ #lykoinflutester #theordinary10498 views- The comment was made 4 daysI think the TO caffeine serum is good! Under makeup
Can it be used under makeup?1152 views- The user's roll: Skin therapist at Lyko. The comment was made 6 daysHi! π This can be used under makeup, but it depends a bit on how you apply it. The product is water-free (oil-based), which means it doesn't behave like a regular serum. It sits more like a thin, softening film on top of the skin. This is very individual, so it can work well under makeup if you use very little (1-2 drops spotwise), but if you use too much, it can cause foundation to slide, separate, or feel greasy. Have a nice day! π

I like it!
I have been waiting for a product like this to be invented, and now itβs here π I apply a thin layer on my acne scars that I have on my cheeks. I think the cheeks look a bit fuller and smoother. I would have liked even more effect, but maybe thatβs too much to ask from a serum. Will continue to use it anyway.1259 views - The post was made 2 weeksRating: 2 out of 5verified customer
Cool idea but the formula, meh
I like the idea and you can really feel that the product works, BUT itβs VERY βoilyβ in texture as someone wrote, so you need very little product and itβs very economical, but it never works under or over anything at all without the product before or after rolling. Basically, it works best right after washing on clean skin, possibly with some toner before, but otherwise no, itβs really tricky to get it into the routine because itβs a product that takes time to show results and if you stop, the effect stops tooβ¦ no, Iβm going back to keeping my botox routines instead of postponing visits as long as I can hoping this can be a little βtemporaryβ solution. Itβs completely normal for the skin around the eyes and lip contour to tingle, but I donβt have the patience anymore to try to get it into the routines π«£π« π₯Ήπ₯Ή2512 views - The post was made 2 weeksRating: 1 out of 5verified customer
Spend your money on something better
No difference is visible. The only thing that happens is a slight tingling in the lips. And the lips quickly become a bit tight and dry. So stop dreaming about plump lips from something you apply β choose something that provides moisture instead.2272 views - The post was made 3 weeks
Question
Hi, When I received this product, the delivery was left at my front door and the product was frozen, it was white with crystals. I didnβt think about it then but brought it inside and it became warm and liquid again. Now I have used it for a while and havenβt seen any results. Could it be that the product was ruined when it froze and then warmed up?πβ₯οΈ2679 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. Combine
Hi! I use 1% retinol from The Ordinary, can I combine these together?3174 views- The user's roll: Skin therapist at Lyko. The comment was made 3 weeksHi Josephine π Itβs fine to use Volufiline together with retinol, as the ingredients donβt conflict with each other. Retinol is an active ingredient that works deeper in the skin and is applied on clean skin, while Volufiline is a more oil-based serum that is applied on top and mainly works by plumping the surface. If you want to use them in the same routine, you can apply retinol first and then Volufiline as the last step or as a spot treatment. At the same time, itβs good to pay attention to how your skin feels, since retinol itself can be irritating, especially in the beginning. If you find your skin becoming sensitive or easily overstimulated, it might be nice instead to use the products in different routines, for example retinol some evenings and Volufiline others. Both options work, so the most important thing is what feels best for your skin π₯° Have a nice day π1 likes

Delivers what it promises
A very good alternative to fillers that I have also tried. I am older and have clear signs of aging around the mouth, on the forehead, and by the nose. This product really makes a difference. And I belong to those who are mostly critical of serums and skin creams that do not deliver what they promise. Helena 743598 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. The best lip plumper!
I've tried products like this before; anti-age ones that are supposed to smooth the skin and promise this and that. But let's be honest; not much works. But this ONE WORKS! And that comes from someone who is skeptical and very honest in my product reviews. This is a thin, slightly oily serum that plumps. That's the thing about this product, it works topically right then and there. I use it on the wrinkles on the sides and under the eyes (not right up to the eye edge!!!) at night and it looks okay. But the wrinkles are still there the next morning, this is not botox π But I use this as a lip plumper and there itβs magical! It smooths out the lines on the lips and makes them bigger, and thatβs no joke! A light warming and slightly tingling sensation, but not uncomfortable. I have thin lips so this is a product that suits me perfectly. And Iβm honestly surprised that it works. A tiny drop is all you need so this lasts loooong β₯οΈ #lykoreview #lykoinflutester4595 views- The comment was made 1 monthHow long does the lip plumper last? All day or just a few hours?π2 likes

Meh...
This is a niche product marketed to counteract volume loss in the face (like hollows under the eyes or at the cheeks). Itβs not a "miracle cure" in a bottle, but it can be an interesting complement for some. The positives: Interesting technology: Volufiline is an ingredient said to stimulate the skinβs fat cells (adipocytes) to give a subtle plumping effect. Itβs one of the few over-the-counter options for those wanting to work on volume without fillers. Value for money: As always with The Ordinary, you get highly concentrated ingredients at a very good price compared to luxury brands using similar technology. The texture: Itβs oil-based but still feels light on the skin and absorbs relatively well if you massage it in properly. The negatives (Honesty check): Patience required: This is not a product where you see results after a week. You need to use it consistently for at least 2-3 months to even notice a difference. Subtle results: Donβt expect the effect of a filler injection. The results are extremely subtle and work best as preventive care or to give a very light "plumping" effect. Doesnβt work for everyone: Since it works with fat cells, results vary greatly depending on your own genetics and skin structure. Some see a difference, others notice nothing at all. Risk of clogged pores: Because itβs oily, it can cause pimples or milia (small white bumps), especially if you use it in the sensitive area under the eyes and tend to have oily skin. Buy it if: Youβve started to notice your face feels a bit "sunken" or thin, and you have the patience to use a product every day for several months. Itβs perfect for those who want a "bio-hacking" approach to skincare. Skip it if: You want quick results or have very oily/acne-prone skin. If you have deep wrinkles or significant volume loss, this oil probably wonβt give you the change youβre hoping for.
The OrdinaryVolufiline* 92% + Pal-Isoleucine 1% 15 ml
Volufiline* 92% + Pal-Isoleucine 1% is a concentrated serum for the face containing 92% VolufilineTM - a known technology commonly used to visibly increase skin volume and plumpness.
It is formulated to visibly target loss of volume and improve skin density. The formulation works to plump the appearance of areas prone to showing loss of volume, such as under the eyes and around the cheeks and smile lines.
Volufiline* 92% + Pal-Isoleucine 1% also includes 1% palmitoyl isoleucine - a supporting lipoamino acid that helps to imparts volume by supporting skin structures responsible for a naturally plump look. Palmitoyl isoleucine helps to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while supporting skin elasticity for a visibly lifted effect.
This concentrated serum is designed for targeted use on areas that appear sunken or hollow, including on the temples, hollow of the eyes, and around the cheeks and smile lines, for visible plumping and smoothing.
Use:
Shake well before use. Apply the product as needed to target areas after your moisturizer. Avoid direct contact with the eyes. Store at room temperature.
