    TikTok favorite 😻

I have been testing this serum for about 3 weeks now and it is really lovely! Botox/fillers in a bottle might be a little much to say, but! I still think I see a certain difference, especially under the eyes! 💁‍♀️ I use the serum as the last step, that is to say over my face/moisturizer and only where I want to “plump” the skin! A lovely, oily consistency that I really like! I will continue to use it and hopefully see even more results going forward! ☺️😍 #lykocreator #lykoreview #theordinary

    Not for my skin 🌸

It's rare that I give two stars or less when reviewing products, but this one has not been for me. 🥲 First, a little about my skin: -dry - glowy - milia that comes and goes - fine lines around the eyes - freckles - needs moisture This concentrated serum is supposed to plump the skin significantly and increase fullness in the skin. I had high expectations for this one, but unfortunately, it doesn't work on my skin. It gives me no wow effect and actually triggers my milia around the eye area, which is sad because it gives a really nice glow, and I can feel that it temporarily plumps upon application. I can imagine that visible results will come after longer use, but since I get milia from it, I simply don't want to use it anymore. What I quickly learned was that it takes incredibly little product; at first, I used way too much 😅, so the bottle lasts a long time, which is a plus for those of you it works for! If I want a smoother effect, I will continue to use Peter Thomas Roth's eye cream, which makes my fine lines disappear temporarily 🤭 What makes it get two stars and not one; the serum gives a nice glow and doesn't curl under makeup, which many serums can do. And to those of you it works for: I'm jealous 🤣🫶🏼 #lykoinflutester #theordinary

I think the TO caffeine serum is good! Haven't tried this one so I can't compare, but the caffeine serum is a favorite that I like to apply all over the face :)

    When?

Is it possible to use it in the same routine with retinal or vitamin C?

Hi Ana!☺️ You can use it in the same routine as both retinal and vitamin C, but it’s best not to apply them directly on top of each other in the same step. ✨ Vitamin C in the morning ✨ Retinal in the evening ✨ You can apply Volufiline after your cream, regardless of routine So they work well together as long as you spread them out over the day 🤍 Take care!

    Doesn't deliver what it promises!

Unfortunately, this product hasn't shown any results after using it twice daily for 2 weeks. The pores and skin look exactly the same. Niacinamide is a much better solution for those who want quick visible results. But it's not worthless; it locks in moisture since it's in a kind of oil formula. Applying it after moisturizer before makeup helps the moisture last longer. But if you're going to use it for that purpose, I recommend The Ordinary’s EUK 134, it's soooo good! Both this and EUK 134 can be applied generously under makeup without ruining it. Just let it absorb for a moment before applying makeup. Don't forget to use a primer on your face when using oily skincare if you want your makeup to last!

    Info

In the description on your website, it says it should be used AFTER face cream. But when you google it, a usage description comes up referring to Lyko where it says it should be used BEFORE face cream?? See picture!

Hi Kim 😊 Quite confusing! I will of course pass on the info about the usage that you sent a picture of. I have checked TO's own website. Their information is as follows: Shake well before use. Apply the product as needed to clean and dry areas after you have applied your moisturizer. Apply directly to the areas to be treated. Have a nice day! 🌼

    When?

It says "use as the last step in skincare." Before or after SPF?

Hi Karen 😊 It should be used after skincare but before SPF. SPF is always the last step in your morning routine because it needs to form a protective layer on top of everything else. So the order is: serum and any treatments first, then this product as the last skincare step, and after that sunscreen. Have a great day! 🌼

Hi 💕 Thank you for sharing your experience 😊 Sorry to hear that the product didn’t give the results you hoped for and that your skin instead felt drier ✨ Skincare can really react differently depending on skin type and what the skin needs. Since the product is very concentrated, some people find it works better when used together with a moisturizing cream on top, especially if the skin tends to feel dry 😊 A tip can also be to start with a smaller amount of product and gradually get used to it in your routine 💛 Thank you for sharing your honest feedback with us and other customers ✨

    Under makeup

Can it be used under makeup?

Hi! 😊 This can be used under makeup, but it depends a bit on how you apply it. The product is water-free (oil-based), which means it doesn't behave like a regular serum. It sits more like a thin, softening film on top of the skin. This is very individual, so it can work well under makeup if you use very little (1-2 drops spotwise), but if you use too much, it can cause foundation to slide, separate, or feel greasy. Have a nice day! 💌

    Face oil on top?

Can you still apply face oil on top of the product?

Hi Christiane! 😊 This product contains no ingredients known to conflict with retinol or increase irritation in a problematic way. That type of serum is also often oil-based or emollient, which usually works well together with retinol. What’s more important is how sensitive the skin is rather than the combination itself. Retinol can be active and irritating on its own, so if you’re new to retinol or have sensitive skin, it might be smart to introduce the products gradually. For example, you can use the Volufiline serum on the same night as retinol if your skin feels stable, or separate them into different routines if you tend to get dry or reactive. Have a nice day! 🌼

    I like it!

I have been waiting for a product like this to be invented, and now it’s here 😊 I apply a thin layer on my acne scars that I have on my cheeks. I think the cheeks look a bit fuller and smoother. I would have liked even more effect, but maybe that’s too much to ask from a serum. Will continue to use it anyway.

Cool idea but the formula, meh

I like the idea and you can really feel that the product works, BUT it’s VERY “oily” in texture as someone wrote, so you need very little product and it’s very economical, but it never works under or over anything at all without the product before or after rolling. Basically, it works best right after washing on clean skin, possibly with some toner before, but otherwise no, it’s really tricky to get it into the routine because it’s a product that takes time to show results and if you stop, the effect stops too… no, I’m going back to keeping my botox routines instead of postponing visits as long as I can hoping this can be a little “temporary” solution. It’s completely normal for the skin around the eyes and lip contour to tingle, but I don’t have the patience anymore to try to get it into the routines 🫣🫠🥹🥹

The OrdinaryVolufiline* 92% + Pal-Isoleucine 1% 15 ml

Free delivery option available from 30 €, can be sent immediately
* Cannot be combined with discount codes.

Volufiline* 92% + Pal-Isoleucine 1% is a concentrated serum for the face containing 92% VolufilineTM - a known technology commonly used to visibly increase skin volume and plumpness.

It is formulated to visibly target loss of volume and improve skin density. The formulation works to plump the appearance of areas prone to showing loss of volume, such as under the eyes and around the cheeks and smile lines.

Volufiline* 92% + Pal-Isoleucine 1% also includes 1% palmitoyl isoleucine - a supporting lipoamino acid that helps to imparts volume by supporting skin structures responsible for a naturally plump look. Palmitoyl isoleucine helps to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while supporting skin elasticity for a visibly lifted effect.

This concentrated serum is designed for targeted use on areas that appear sunken or hollow, including on the temples, hollow of the eyes, and around the cheeks and smile lines, for visible plumping and smoothing.

Use:
Shake well before use. Apply the product as needed to target areas after your moisturizer. Avoid direct contact with the eyes. Store at room temperature.
