Do they absorb less product than those typical cotton pads - I don't think so, plus they are such that the liquid doesn't go through to the other side and you can use them for two different products. This product is very effective. Your toner stays on the surface and definitely reduces how much you need by more than 30%, I would rather say 50%. The negative is that it's hard with the amount as it easily gets sticky, I think. I've also gotten too little on, and I don't think you can flip it and use the other side as they have different functions and it's clearly noticeable. At least my toner works better on a different pad. I've also tested it with makeup remover, and it doesn't work at all then. Looked like a zebra on my face. So use it only for what it's intended for. I also didn't like the size of it, I have a fitting jar at home, but that was clearly round.. So for me, the negatives outweighed, so I will pass on this going forward. Perfect
If the price were lower, I’d buy only these pads! They don’t soak up the product — everything goes onto the skin — and they keep your hands dry.
