A really good shampoo for sensitive scalp!
I have had the opportunity to test 3 products from XL Scalp for sensitive irritated scalp as a Lykoinflutester over the past few weeks! * XL Scalp Shampoo * XL Scalp Conditioner * XL Scalp Serum Here are my thoughts and experiences about the Scalp Shampoo! A bit about my hair: Coarse hair strands, thick, long, slightly frizzy, and naturally curly, untreated! Tangles easily. Sensitive scalp with small dry patches but no dandruff. The packaging is simple and sleek, easy to open with a snap and get out the formula, which is light. The scent is clean, fresh, and mild just as I wish! I have used the product together with the others I am testing in the same brand. I always wash/shampoo my hair about 2 times a week. The formula is easy to massage in, rinse out, and feels soothing and moisturizing for my sensitive scalp. I am very satisfied with the result as my scalp feels more balanced and less itchy. However, it is not moisturizing enough for my hair lengths with just shampoo. But in combination with conditioner, the hair becomes softer and more hydrated! Really nice result! I am a #LYKOINFLUTESTER 😁 this time I got to test products from #XLSCALP I have used XL products before, been satisfied 👍🏻 exciting to test a new series for sensitive scalp, which I have 🙋♀️ A little short facts about me 34-year-old girl.. typical Scandinavian flat hair 🫣 I dye my hair about once every six months. I have a dry scalp, itchy scalp. I use products against this daily. I try not to wash my hair more than 2 times a week, as it gets drier and itches more the more often I wash it. Here comes my review of #XLSCALP shampoo 🌷Packaging Hairdresser packaging that I like. Larger bottles (400ml) are a + Missing a pump for the shampoo. It's a matter of taste, but I miss that. I see that the same shampoo but with 1000ml has a pump. I would have liked to have that in this size too 😅 Very good price. 149kr! 🙏🏼 🌷Consistency/usage Transparent thick consistency (see my video) Very economical, needs little product. So this shampoo in this size lasts long 🙏🏼 🌷 Scent Here comes my disappointment.. when I am going to use the shampoo for the first time.. I can't stand the scent. It smells like toothpaste. 🤷♀️ Not a pleasant scent. It is a strong, pungent scent. 🌷Result Has it removed my itchy scalp? - no unfortunately not completely. used this on 6 occasions now. I may need to use it more to achieve a full result.. I will continue to use it, even though the scent is not a favorite. Clean & Soft
I tried this new series from XL! I shampooed twice like I always do and was first a bit scared as my hair felt very clean and almost dry BUT after the conditioner - WOW! I put the conditioner all over my hair, since it’s a Scalp series I also applied it at the roots, and it gave an incredible soft and smooth feeling to my hair. Airy, clean, soft, and fresh! Now it’s been 4 days and it doesn’t feel like my hair needs washing for a couple more days! 🤩 I’m positively surprised by the products but I was a little worried after just the shampoo! I love a shampoo that lathers well, and this one really delivers! I have 3C curls, and my hair rarely gets greasy, but I still want a shampoo that cleans well without drying out my scalp, because I use other heavy products. This lathers a lot, which makes it easy to distribute in my hair and gives a really clean feeling. Mild, but effective The shampoo is made for sensitive and dry scalps, which suits me well since I sometimes struggle with a bit of dandruff and dryness. It contains piroctone olamine and betaine, which both balance the scalp and provide moisture. I notice that my scalp feels calmer after use. Fresh and clean feeling After use, my hair feels clean but still soft. It works well with the conditioner in the same line, and afterwards my hair is easy to comb through. Great shampoo!
I was positively surprised by this shampoo! It cleans the hair really well without drying it out, which I greatly appreciate since my hair needs moisture. Still, it doesn't get greasy, which can be a challenge with more moisturizing products. The consistency is good, it lathers nicely, and the hair feels clean and light after washing. The scent is neutral and clean – neither too strong nor overpowering. I don't have a particularly sensitive scalp or issues with, for example, dandruff, so I can't say how it works for that, but for me, it has been absolutely great. Pretty okay, but not for me
A little about me: I have highlights, not very sensitive scalp, and quite frizzy hair. What I want to say is that this shampoo feels mild and pleasant, and it lathers nicely. It gives the hair a clean and fresh feeling without drying it out. I can imagine it works well for those who have a sensitive or irritated scalp, but since I don’t struggle with this myself, I didn’t notice a big difference. All in all, a nice product, but maybe better suited for someone with specific scalp issues. But what I want to say is that if you need a mild shampoo, this one works great and the hair didn’t get any frizzier, so that’s a bonus. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #XLSCALP

Clean and neat hair🤩
I have been so lucky to test the product for sensitive scalp from the brand #grazette 🤩 A little about my hair: 💇🏼♀️ Thick hair! 💇🏼♀️ Uncolored 💇🏼♀️ Dry scalp This series is sensitive and especially good for you with sensitive and dry scalp! I have dry scalp that flakes a bit🙂 My husband has psoriasis and he has also used all the products in this series!❤️ I think the shampoo has a strong smell of peppermint, but the smell goes away when you rinse your hair, it is economical in use and the hair becomes clean, neat, and soft 😍 I still flake after the first use, but now after several weeks of use, my scalp looks better and I hardly flake anymore! 🥰 My husband, who usually flakes a lot and has sores and red scalp, looks much better now than he did before! (Of course, I forgot to take pictures before and after) I notice more and more difference the longer I use it! Especially in collaboration with the conditioner and serum in the same series🥰 The only reason it doesn't get full marks from me is because of the strong smell, but I have chronic migraines and am very sensitive to smells! Pretty okay shampoo
This time I received 3 products from #XLSCALP to test for a month ☺️ I have thin and fine hair, a bit of a dry scalp, and lose a bit of hair. I think the bottles are quite simple, nothing wow about their appearance. I like that they are 400ml bottles and at a very cheap price! The smell was very special, it smells a bit strong but I can't quite explain how. Maybe a bit of peppermint but still not. Unfortunately, after trying it, I feel that the shampoo hasn't done anything for me. It cleans the hair but didn't provide moisture to my hair or scalp. Fantastic for sensitive scalp!
I have had issues with a dry and irritated scalp for a while, and this shampoo has really made a difference! It is super gentle but still cleanses the hair properly without drying it out. Already after a few washes, my scalp feels more balanced and all the itching is gone. Plus, it helps with dandruff, which is a big plus! I have tested this shampoo from Grazettes #xlscalp series. (My #lykoinflutester reviews are just as honest as the reviews I write about products I have paid for.) Color me unimpressed in a way, because here we have yet another sulfate-free shampoo.. I generally do not like sulfate-free shampoos as they very often provide a poorer cleaning than shampoos with sodium laureth sulfate (tired of the demonization of SLES), especially if you use conditioner products with silicones in them like I do. As an influtester, I do of course give things an honest chance! The shampoo smells quite okay.. pretty fresh, a bit grassy. Nothing that stands out from the crowd when it comes to these salon shampoos. The scent of this one is better than the scent of the previous XL series that I tested. The packaging is relatively easy to handle. The consistency of the shampoo is a bit on the thick side. I have tested this shampoo both alone and as a second shampoo in a "double cleanse", and I find that it did not live up to my expectations when I only used this shampoo. I had to shampoo three times for it to feel somewhat good. But when I use my Neutral shampoo first and then follow up with this one, it is completely okay. This probably has to do with the fact that I use hair products with silicones, so I have taken that into account when I gave my rating. Refreshing
Here is what I noticed after using #XLSCALP shampoo: 🌱 It's easy to detangle and brush my hair after using the shampoo, and it feels soft and extra shiny. 🌱 My hair does feel clean, but it still gets greasy after 1-2 days as usual. I don’t see any difference in dandruff. 🌱 The shampoo has menthol and feels refreshing when applied, so that probably helps the scalp too? 🌱 The scent is okay, nothing special. It has a slight minty smell, but it’s very weak. My hair doesn’t smell like anything after a day and it usually still smells nice even after three days with other shampoos. 🌱 Overall, it didn't do much to my scalp, good thing is that it has a cooling and refreshing effect, and my hair is shiny and easy to detangle. 🌱 The bottle is big and easy to use and to close, that's a plus as well! #lykoinflutester
