Adults (18 and over)
Abrupt quitting:
Take one lozenge when cravings hit, usually 8-12 times a day, up to a max of 15. Keep this up for up to 6 weeks to break the smoking habit. After that, gradually reduce the number of lozenges. When you're down to 1-2 lozenges a day, it's time to stop. Pop a lozenge in situations that trigger strong cravings.

Gradual quitting through tapering:
For smokers who aren’t ready or able to quit cold turkey. Take a lozenge when cravings strike to cut down on the number of cigarettes smoked, with the daily lozenge count varying based on your needs. Don’t exceed 15 lozenges a day.
