Amazing shower oil!
I had the opportunity to test some products from Aco as a Lyko influencer, this Caring shower oil pH for skin balance for all skin types was one of them! After a few weeks of testing, here comes my review, thoughts, and experiences about the product! A little about my skin type: Normal but drier in the fall and winter, and therefore especially in need of moisturizing products! Using shower oil is quite new for me, so this test was very interesting to try the Aco brand! Thank you, Lyko! The packaging is practical with a pump, I love it so much and it's easy to get the formula out! The oil has a lighter consistency, is transparent, and has a mild wonderful fresh scent! A big plus that it is incredibly economical! I have used the oil in the shower on damp skin, and after a while, it becomes a bit soapy. It feels very nice on the skin and makes it feel moisturized, clean, and fresh! Simply wonderful! A truly lovely shower oil for daily use! Moisturizing 💦
I got the opportunity to test 4 products from ACO. Here comes the review of their Body Caring Shower Oil. It is described as mild, dermatologically tested, and with a skin-balancing pH level. I am a real dry person during the winter months, so this suited me perfectly to test right now. I have no previous experience using shower oils. The packaging is a practical bottle with a pump. With a very unflattering yellow hue😅 The oil is colorless. The price of 139 kr feels totally okay🤑 What strikes me when I use it for the first time is how it smells. Sour and musty. I am not at all tempted to wash my body with this oil🤔 But a test is a test. It feels nice on the skin and gives a little lather. But I never get the feeling of being really clean. Which may be due to how it smells. However, my skin is more moisturized and not nearly as dry after these weeks💦 I have even been able to skip applying body lotion sometimes when I have had a few breakouts👍 It uses a lot of product, and the bottle is basically empty after about 3 weeks of use. Which is not usually the case when I use my regular shower cream. It's a bummer about the scent of the oil though, I suspect it's the oils it contains that are coming through. Oil everywhere
Leaked in my package, oil on all the products I bought, so sad and annoying. I don't understand why there isn't more packaging or some form of protection for products like these.
