Not for makeup removal
I thought the product would be good for removing makeup because it is oil, but how wrong I was 😆. The product is also thick in its consistency (if that makes sense), so it still needs to be washed off with a water-based cleansing product. How can there be unpleasant surprises.... pimples. I have acne-prone dry skin and I notice that the bottle is still almost full even though I have had it for about 3 months. It probably removes sunscreen from the skin, but I don't fully trust it. Because I really have to work to remove my it cosmetics cc cream. There is no strong scent in it. Something good, it has a good pump. I would say if you are looking for an oil-based product or oil for double cleansing, this is worth trying. But for example, waterproof mascara or other very long-lasting products, it does not wash off. So totally okay/mhjäh, but I do not recommend 😆 #lykoreview5942 views- 3 months@pinja yeah, this was definitely known even though it was only clear after the purchase decision🙈 but thank you very much. I still have to wait for an offer @whamisa 🤩🤭

Love it!
It cleanses the skin very well and doesn't have that oily feeling when you wash your face after using it. Highly recommended.Translated from norwegian

Ginseng cleansing oil
This product gave me huge outbreaks of red bumps and acne on my face. Eventually, it dried out my skin too. My skin felt tight after cleansing, and after a few days, the bumps appeared. Not recommended if you have sensitive skin and are thinking about trying this cleanser.Translated from norwegian
534 views- Customer service at Lyko2 weeksHi! Thank you so much for your feedback – I’m really sorry to hear that Beauty of Joseon Ginseng Cleansing Oil has caused you breakouts, rashes, and tight skin. That should definitely not happen, especially not with a product that is often marketed for sensitive and nourishing cleansing. Based on your experience, I would absolutely recommend that you do not continue using this. Instead, we can suggest a milder alternative that is more skin-friendly for sensitivity – for example, a cleanser with minimal irritation risk that contains soothing ingredients (e.g. centella, allantoin, or ceramides). We have several oil-based cleansing products that are free from parabens, sulfates, or fragrances, and that have a calming and soothing effect. Please reach out if you have any more questions or would like recommendations😊

Doesn't work
I tried the product four days ago and on the first day it seemed like it worked, but just two days later my skin started reacting violently to it. It flared up and I've gotten incredibly bad skin from it, not recommended for anyone.Translated from norwegian

Nice!
Very pleasant and nice cleanser that removes makeup well. I usually first go in with micellar water to get rid of eye makeup and then go in with this, so I don't know how good it is for eye makeup, but it removes face makeup well!Translated from swedish

Doesn't remove makeup effectively
After trying this over a period, I see that it doesn't work so well for my combination skin type. It doesn't remove makeup easily, which means you have to rub unnecessarily much - something my skin doesn't like so much. But I still want to highlight that my rosacea didn't react particularly negatively to it, so it definitely deserves these three stars and some feedback :)Translated from norwegian

Dry skin
Hi, is it suitable for dry skin? And how is it in general?Translated from norwegian
1867 views- Customer service at Lyko3 monthsHi! The Beauty of Joseon Ginseng Cleansing Oil generally works well for most skin types, including dry skin. The formulation is rich in natural oils and ginseng extract that help retain moisture in the skin while dissolving makeup and impurities. Why might it be suitable for dry skin? Gentle cleansing: The oil cleansing method removes dirt and makeup without stripping the skin of its natural oils. Nourishing ingredients: Ginseng root extract is known to be invigorating and nourishing for the skin, while the oil formula provides extra moisture. How to use it? Apply a couple of pumps to dry hands. Gently massage into dry skin, including over makeup or sunscreen. Then wet your hands and continue to massage to emulsify the oil. Rinse with lukewarm water or wipe off with a soft cloth. Then continue with a water-based cleanser before proceeding with moisturizer😊 Hope this helps you evaluate the product! Feel free to reach out if you have more questions🌸

Is cleansing foam needed?
Hi! I recently bought this oil cleanser and one of their serums? I’m now reading that you should wash with cleansing foam afterwards? Is it necessary, and if so, do you have any tips on which one☺️Translated from swedish
1718 views- Customer service at Lyko3 monthsHey Tiffany 😊👋 Yes, I recommend following up with a water-based cleanser, especially if you have oily or acne-prone skin. It helps to remove any leftover oil and dirt that may remain after the first cleansing 🥰👍 You can check out one of these 💞 lyko.com/sv/beauty-of-joseon/beauty-of-joseon-green-plum-refreshing-cleanser-100-ml lyko.com/sv/cosrx/cosrx-low-ph-good-morning-gel-cleanser-150-ml-b3e84c32 lyko.com/sv/cerave/cerave-foaming-cleanser-473-ml Take care BÄST!

An okay cleansing oil
It works fine, removes makeup and all. The smell is not my favourite, and it feels a bit heavy on the face when using it. The eye makeup is also a bit tricky to remove, I need to be extra patient and careful. But overall an okay cleansing oil, it does the job.1559 viewsto leave a comment
