      Hello! Since both retinol and certain ingredients in the serum (like niacinamide) can be a bit irritating for the skin when used together, it is recommended to use these products at different times of the day. You can use retinol in the evening and the serum in the morning to minimize the risk of irritation. Alternatively, you can use the serum in the evening and retinol a few times a week to let the skin adjust to both products. Remember to always follow up with a sunscreen during the day when using retinol. Good luck!
