    A Snällis! 🥰

I have soon used this product and I have liked it all the way. It is a light yellow cream that feels quite rich but absolutely not greasy. The light yellow color comes from the content of retinol, which is naturally light yellow and thus no added color. I have oily but dry skin that is sometimes very sensitive and sometimes not sensitive at all, and I have used this as the last step in my evening routine. The tube is only 20 ml, which I wasn't really aware of when I bought it. Usually, such products are at least 30 ml, and this tube has lasted me about 1.5 months, I think. The good thing is that the amount that is usually talked about actually lasts with this cream 🫛 It sinks nicely into the skin and leaves me with a feeling of sufficiency, if you can say so, meaning that I have gotten what I need in terms of both oil and moisture. It is very gentle and contains several soothing and strengthening ingredients. However, regarding the content of retinol, I haven't noticed it at all. This is the lightest variant, and I probably wouldn't choose it again since I am already used to retinol and imagine that I might need a little higher strength. However, low concentrations should not be underestimated, working on the skin barrier without irritation is actually worth its weight in gold. I need to remind myself of that, more is actually not always better. With that in mind, we have a really nice and gentle cream here that I would recommend to both beginners of retinol and others! Makes the skin really smooth and lovely! #lykoreview #COSRX #retinol

    The Purge

Hey! I’ve introduced this into my evening routine every third day. I use the corsx barrier cream first, then this, and then the pukan yul ampule. On all other days, I use the ordinary azelaic acid 10% for my redness and scars. I’ve gotten a few small pimples on my forehead that I think are a purge from this. My problem area with large pores is actually around my nose and cheeks. Should I still apply it all over my face or only where I have the biggest issues? I’m 34 years old and really need to work on anti-aging too 😊 How do you know if it’s a purge or irritation?

Hey Rene😊 A few small pimples at the beginning can be purging, especially where you usually get pimples, but red, tight, or stinging skin can be irritation. You can start by applying retinol only to problem areas (e.g., nose and cheeks) and then gradually expand to the whole face as your skin gets used to it. Stick to 1-2 evenings a week. Feel free to continue with a soothing moisturizer afterward to reduce irritation and get an anti-aging effect. Don't forget sunscreen during the day. Hope the answer can be helpful and that you have a super nice day💫

Hey Soph😊 Yes, you can use I’m From Rice Toner and Cream together with COSRX Retinol 0.1%. Start cautiously with retinol a few nights a week and use the toner first, then retinol, and lastly the cream. If your skin is sensitive, you can try the "sandwich method" with a thin layer of cream before and after retinol. Take it easy at the start and see how your skin reacts. Feel free to patch test your products first on a small area to see how your skin feels. Also, don’t forget sunscreen during the day as the last step. Hope the answer can be helpful and that you have a super nice day💫

    Finding no flaws

Seems like a good cream, spreads nicely and comes in a practical tube. A nice cream if it's your first time using retinol.

    I’m seeing results!

I love this product and it’s my first time using retinol. It’s mild and does not irritate my skin. I use it every other night and give my skin a rest in between.

    Spot treatment?

Hi, I’m 20 years old and I get a few pimples here and there. Can I use this as a spot treatment on them?

Hey there😊 Thanks for a great question. Yes, you can use this as a spot treatment - it is relatively mild as it is 0.1 percent. It’s a nice starter if you haven’t introduced your skin to retinol yet, which you also don’t need to think about when you’re 20, but if you want to work effectively on reducing some pimples that pop up here and there, this is nice to apply to the pimples at night and let it work overnight🙏✨ Have a great day!

    Good

Good product, the price is not outrageous. I tried this because I took a break from retinol products and didn't want to start with a stronger product. I have nothing bad to say except about the packaging, as when I squeeze the product out, a moment later more product flows out, and then there is some of that product inside the cap. ☺️

I like that it’s a cream and not a serum. It’s actually a really good product, especially for beginners. I’ve had retinol for many years so this probably hasn’t made any difference for me, but it felt really nice on the skin.

    Serum

Hi! Which serum would be suitable to use before applying this cream? Preferably a fragrance-free option 😊
