I have been using beplain Cicaful Soothing Gel for about three weeks because I wanted to find a lightweight facial cream that quickly soothes the skin without feeling heavy. I was curious about the high content of centella asiatica and the cool gel texture, especially on days when the skin feels red, irritated, or extra sensitive. My skin is combination and can become surface dry and sensitive, especially after exfoliation or sun exposure. beplain Cicaful Soothing Gel has a transparent, lightweight gel texture that feels instantly cooling upon application. It absorbs quickly, leaves no sticky residue, and is completely free from fragrance and essential oils, making it comfortable even for sensitive skin. The formula contains as much as 92.6% centella asiatica extract along with ceramide NP, fig extract, and plant extracts that help soothe the skin, strengthen the skin barrier, and retain moisture. After a few weeks of use, the skin felt more balanced, hydrated, and less prone to feeling tight. The gel cream works just as well as a lightweight day cream, a soothing evening step, or as after sun when the skin needs extra cooling. Very nice for my sensitive skin! Good ingredients! Absorbs well and can also be used before makeup. I recommend applying on slightly damp skin for maximum hydration. This is a gel, so if you need more moisture, you should use a moisturizer or serum/essence in addition. Good texture, but a bit lacking in moisture
I have combination skin that breaks out easily, but unfortunately this was too little moisturizing for me. The texture is good and cooling, so it should work for many. Hi! I am looking for a moisturizing cream that strengthens the skin barrier, consisting of ceramides (preferably also hyaluronic acid and niacinamide). I have a few requirements for a good moisturizer, namely that it should be: Alcohol-free EU allergen-free Fragrance-free Safe against fungi and acne Paraben-free Reef-safe Silicone-free Sulfate-free This cream meets all the requirements, but I am afraid it won't provide enough moisture for my weak, sensitive, and irritated skin. Therefore, I have a couple of questions regarding this product: Will this provide enough moisture and strengthen the skin barrier well enough for a weakened skin barrier as a result of Epiduo? And can these two be used together? Does this contain exfoliating substances that are a disadvantage for someone using Epiduo? Do you have any other recommendations for my skin? Descriptions of my skin in detail: combination, very sensitive skin, a few dry (flaky) areas now and then as a result of EpiDuo, very "dull", several red spots after acne, acne-prone (moderate acne), a few small white "bumps" here and there, appearance-wise "lifeless" (no glow), very large pores or so-called "sebaceous filaments" on the T-zone (especially the nose). For now, I am using CeraVe's "moisturizing cream" which provides enough moisture for my skin, but it stings a bit and is according to "SkinSort" not free from silicone and sulfate, in addition to not being safe to use for acne-prone skin.
