Easy to use
I have tried the Tan Fan bronzer in the color Sunny Side and itβs a new favorite, LOVE the formula! Positives: - Feels like a powder-to-cream formula. Very similar to the Caia bronzer. - Easy to blend out - Nice shade Negatives: - I find it gets very crumbly when you swipe the brush on it, so unfortunately a lot of product is lost without use. - Thought it was a bit hard to blend at first β usually only use cream products but when I tried with Makeup Stores all around foundation brush it went well! - Think there are few shades and a big jump from the lightest to the second lightest You who read this must try it! Looks good on but ouch in the makeup bag
3 weeks postpartum who? Joking aside, I really felt this was needed for my glowup! I've been testing this for a few days now and unfortunately, it was already a bit crumbly when I received it β probably took a little hit during delivery.. I did half my face with the products I usually use at home and the other half with this one plus blush from by Lyko. You can hardly see any difference between the sides at all π Both sides also look the same after a whole day, which is a plus! The price for the product is really good, I would say! The downside though is that it crumbles a lot and already looks well-used. A bit risky if you want to take it with you in your makeup bag. Having a brown makeup bag and all the products crumbly is something I've experienced before and definitely not something you want again.. MAYBE this would be better in a loose powder jar? Because on the skin, it really does what itβs supposed to! Golden Days
I got to test the By Lyko Tan Fan Bronzer in the shade βGolden Days.β This is a matte bronzer without talc that is supposed to melt into the skin. Unfortunately, this was not a favorite for me. I probably didnβt choose the right shade for me, as this one was too light and leans very much towards orange. This powder is unfortunately not as creamy and silky as it claims to be. I wonder if itβs the shade I chose that is like this, or if this applies to all the shades? Itβs very powdery and dusts a lot when I dip the brush into it, and when I tap off the excess, almost all the product disappears from the brush. I managed to make it work a bit better by dipping the brush into the powder and blending it in my hand before applying it to my face. But since the bronzer was a bit too light for me, it didnβt show up well on the skin. Perfect shade for fair skin, but missing that creamy feel
This bronzer really has an absolutely fantastic color! For those of us with fair skin, the tone is spot onπ€©neither too pink/red nor too yellow/orange. Even when I have a bit of a tan, I prefer a lighter shade like this because it makes the product super easy to control and build up without the risk of patchiness. Unfortunately, the texture doesnβt quite live up to what the brand promises. Instead of the promised βcreamy soft feel,β I find the formula way too powdery and crumbly. It quickly creates powder dust all over the compact as soon as you dip the brush for a single sweep. Personally, I prefer a formula that has more of a βpowder-to-creamβ feel β still a powder, but with more creaminess and less dustinessππ€© Summary: PlusβFantastic, natural-looking shade for fair skin.
