    Mature Vanilla

I got to test Goddess Eau de Parfum from Burberry. The first impression is an elegant bottle with golden details that gives a feeling of luxury and matches the scent very well. The initial scent is a bit warm and intense, spicy vanilla with a darkness to it. But when it hits the skin and gets to mature a bit, it becomes a milder, yet warm and mature vanilla scent that isn’t too sweet. It’s feminine and sensual without being too much. As a 36-year-old, I like vanilla scents, but often find them too girly and sugary sweet, but this one suits me well. I don’t really get a wow feeling of something very unique with this, plus it doesn’t have the longest longevity on the skin and needs refreshing throughout the day, so it doesn’t get full marks. But definitely one I will continue to use. #lykoinflutester #burberry

    New favorite

I have tested Emerald eau de parfum and I love it! I am a 36-year-old woman who generally likes to express my femininity. But in a mature and classy way and I don’t like it when it gets too sweet. "I wanna feel like a lady." This fragrance fits this perfectly. The bottle is elegant and both the shape and color reflect the impression the scent gives. Classy, grown-up, floral and feminine without being too dark and intense. It fits perfectly now in the summer as it has a freshness to it. But I can also imagine using it the rest of the year. What I also like about this is how well it lasts and how the scent develops throughout the day. It is economical to use and you don’t need much. I spray twice on my neck and once on each wrist and feel this is enough for me. Extra plus that my partner likes it too. Absolutely a new permanent addition to my fragrance wardrobe. #lykoinflutester #versace

    Completely okay

I have tested the Hydrate me masque from Kevin Murphy. My thin damaged hair, which has been through several rounds of both coloring and bleaching, needs good care. I was excited to try this since I have good experience with Kevin Murphy. The bottle is a practical pump bottle with a cool design. It’s easy to get the product out. I let the mask work for about 10 minutes before rinsing it out and finishing with conditioner. I liked the packaging, the consistency, and the scent. The hair becomes soft and cared for, but I can’t say it gave me any wow effect. For me, I don’t see more effect from this than an average conditioner. #lykoinflutester #kevinmurphy

    Smells good

I have tested the Everlasting colour rinse from Kevin Murphy. My hair is fine and Nordic and has been through a lot of coloring and wear, so it needs a lot of good care to not look like a hay bale. I have used brown Kevin Murphy products before and been satisfied, so I was looking forward to testing this one. The bottle has an elegant and practical shape, but personally I don't think the color matches the vibe of the conditioner regarding the scent. The scent is lovely. It reminds me of spa, sauna, and dark wood. Really calm and luxurious. Therefore, in my opinion, a slightly more neutral earth tone would have suited better. The consistency is thick, and I needed quite a bit of product to cover my hair. I also applied it to the scalp. But the advantage of it being thick is that the product doesn't run out as quickly as other conditioners tend to do. I let it sit for a while, at least two minutes. My assessment is that it is a perfectly fine conditioner. The hair becomes cared for and shiny, and smells good. But I don't think it is noticeably better than other completely ordinary conditioners. #lykoinflutester #kevinmurphy

    Like the scent

I have tested Everlasting colour wash from Kevin Murphy. My hair is typically Nordic with fine strands. And after a lot of coloring, it needs a lot of care and moisture to not look like a crow's nest. Therefore, I was very excited to test this shampoo. I like the packaging, but after opening it, the color didn’t quite match the scent in my opinion. The scent gives associations to spa, sauna, dark wood with a hint of tar, and would probably fit better with earth tones on the bottle. I shampooed my hair twice as recommended. The product was easy to distribute and foamed well. The hair felt clean and cared for and looked healthy and shiny. All in all, I would say this is a good shampoo, but I can’t quite see that it stands out from completely ordinary shampoos. The scent is good, and I like that it lingers a bit in the hair. #lykoinflutester #kevinmurphy

    A bit too much pressure

I have tested Watercloud's Instant Heat Protection spray for a few weeks. The product itself is quite okay, but it pulls down a bit too much how non-functional the spray bottle is. The packaging is nice and sleek, which we like about Watercloud. The product smells light and good, and the consistency is light and not sticky. The hair is easy to style. What pulls down a bit too much is that the spray is way too hard. It is heavy for the hand to use, and the spray is way too hard and concentrated, making it very clumsy to distribute evenly in the hair. In addition, I simply get tired in my hands. My hair is medium-length, Nordic fine, which needs a lot of help to not become frizzy and damaged, especially now in winter. And what I like about the product is that it has good ingredients and properties that both protect and add shine. My hair became soft and nice and held the styling. But unfortunately, this will not be the first one I reach for in the bathroom cabinet as it is quite heavy to use. It's a shame, because the potential is there. #lykoinflutester #waterclouds

    Love her

I’ve been testing this SilkyAir Flex 5-in-1 for a few weeks and I’m impressed. First, the packaging, I have one in pink, and it fits so perfectly with my aesthetic. It comes in a lovely pink case with a handle and plenty of space for all the parts, very organized and super easy to pack back up without having to stuff things in. My hair is a bit longer than shoulder-length and very Nordic with fine hair strands. There’s quite a lot of hair on my head, which makes blow-drying and styling a lengthy affair. But being able to style and dry at the same time is just perfect for me. It’s easy to use, without having to read a ton of instructions, and especially great that you can click it at an angle. The oval brush is absolutely gorgeous for a good blowout or just to straighten the hair. The air wrap curling function requires you to have your tongue a bit straight in your mouth when it comes to choosing the right direction and getting the right technique, but you get the hang of it quickly. It’s gentler on my hair than a straightener or curling iron, and even though it gets hot, I don’t have to worry about burning myself. The only challenge I had was that I had to take much less hair at a time for it to manage, than I would have with a curling iron, but the volume speaks volumes. All in all, very satisfied, and both my daughter and I will be avid users of this going forward. #lykoinflutester #silkn

    Doesn't stand out

I have tested Redken's Acidic Bonding Concentrate leave-in treatment. This is a leave-in conditioner that is supposed to repair damaged and colored hair. Overall, it is a good product, but it doesn't stand out from other similar products. The packaging is nice and easy to use. The conditioner has a light creamy consistency and is very economical to use. It has a nice slightly fruity scent. I apply a small amount to towel-dried hair and style as usual. What I like about this is that it doesn't weigh the hair down, but tames frizz and gives shiny hair without looking greasy. The hair feels healthy and strong and is soft and easy to comb through. My hair is fine and Nordic and has some wear and tear after a lot of coloring and bleaching, so good conditioner products are essential for my hair, especially now that it's cold. This definitely does the job, and I really like that it also has heat-protective properties. That said, I don't feel that this stands out from other similar products, and it's possible to find equally good products at a more reasonable price. #lykoinflutester #redken
