TIME FOR A TREAT!
The perfect cozy perfume for the upcoming fall🩷 #lykoinflutester #sabrinacarpenter It’s warm and delicious. Chocolate and vanilla definitely play the biggest role in this scent! Often vanilla in the cheapest perfumes can smell quite cheap and sharp, but here it was wonderfully soft and pleasant. The fun chocolate shape definitely signals what kind of treat is in store😋 Overall a really high-quality scent but unfortunately the longevity is weak. After a couple of hours, the scent starts to fade from the skin and even faster from clothes. In my opinion, it’s definitely more of a fragrance aimed at younger people! This requires a friend for makeup removal
My trusted cleanser was discontinued, so I’ve started searching for a replacement product and this Garnier was the first candidate😎 I’m specifically looking for a makeup remover in soap form. Oils and balms etc. are not to my taste. I use a separate soap as a second step focusing on cleansing the skin after makeup removal. I was surprised at how runny this product was. I might prefer more texture/gel-like consistency so the feel lasts throughout use. When you start foaming this, some already runs off your hands. The foaming happened very easily though, points for that! Because it’s so runny and light, when massaging it onto the face I wasn’t always sure if it was even soap anymore😂 The makeup came off nicely with this but unfortunately, every time there were big mascara residues left on the lashes even though it’s not waterproof. For that reason, I lowered my stars to three but if your routine for example includes a separate eye makeup remover, this cleanser might be perfect for you! I could also imagine that with the micellar water from the same line this could be a nice match! For those looking for a natural finish and effortless application, this is a perfect choice!👀 #lykoinflutester #rebeccastella The bristles are super soft and pick up a little product at a time, ensuring a natural finish. In my opinion, I’ve never managed to create a clumpy-looking highlighter with this brush. The large brush size doesn’t leave “lines” on the face but beautifully picks up product across the entire brush width. The soft bristles follow the contours of the face during application. It was easy to apply to all the highlight areas on the face, though the brow bone might need a smaller brush. The brush was very lightweight and felt high quality. I got to test this new blushlighter among the first, and I fell in love with it😍 #lykoinflutester #rebeccastella Such a beautiful shade and amazing packaging. The mirror was a pleasant surprise when I opened the package for the first time! The packaging feels high quality and opens and closes easily but also firmly. I would dare to put this in my bag without fear that it would explode at the bottom of the bag. When applying to the cheeks, the product didn’t fall off but spread very beautifully and gave a really natural yet stunning finish! Application was very effortless and even with a small amount, you could get a noticeable result. The pigment seemed to transfer weakly to the cheeks, but when using this, for example, as eyeshadow, the pink came out very beautifully and looked like a stunning shade🩷 I recommend putting liquid blush underneath if you want more color on the cheeks. As a highlighter, this is definitely one of the best products I’ve ever tried! The result blends into the face and doesn’t leave awkward lines. I LOVE IT WHEN I FIND MASCARAS THAT DO WHAT THEY PROMISE😍 Length, volume, and a really black color, check, check, and check! The lashes also stay up all day and don’t droop. I don’t curl my lashes at all though, so I can’t comment on that. The brush had a good shape but the flexible handle was maybe a bit of a no-go for me. I like it sturdy so I can really pull against the lashes and not have it give way😄 But you get used to it quickly. This was easy to layer and the result didn’t get clumpy! But oh my, how hard it was to clean off if you got a mess on your eyelid!! Felt like nothing would come off and it left marks🥲 I was surprised how well you could see the color difference from normal black! This really lifted the look nicely😍 I also have long hairs, so it didn’t droop during the day even though I used a bit less product than recommended. With this, I also got a neater look on makeup-free days, which was lovely! I tried using this both in the first step of makeup (which it’s probably designed for) and during makeup, and that worked too. You just can’t really “laminate” the brows against the skin as well, but the result is still nice as you can see in the picture🥹 Natural but lasting! Actually, the only things that lowered my score were the built-in brush and the difficulty of getting the gel out. You really have to squeeze hard to get product out, and even then, only a very small amount came out if the goal is a pea-sized amount. Then again, the brush head seems to get messy right away. Nice basic primer!
I feel like this primer did the same as a gel-like moisturizer: moisturized and gave a light stickiness. So maybe I don’t really get the hype or especially the price😂 The texture was gel-like and easy to apply on the face. Even with a smaller amount, you could get pretty far. I didn’t necessarily notice the promised “plump” effect, but on the skin it felt light and moisturizing. After letting the primer sit on the face for a moment, it became a bit stickier which was nice. It feels like foundation sticks better to that. I’m also not completely sure if it really did anything extra for makeup longevity😅 The packaging was really fresh and the pump dispensed good amounts! Guaranteed Glow for Your Face!
The product spread easily with fingers and the result was lovely! It nicely evened out my skin tone but didn’t cover it. And this glow was exactly what I expected✨ The texture felt a bit like a BB cream when applying. I could imagine that this medium shade would work well even just with concealer if you’re a bit more tanned! I’ve mostly used it under foundation and it still peeked through nicely even under a thicker layer😄 Very natural finish. I also tried using it as a highlighter on top of foundation, but maybe the lightest shade would be better for me. A powder highlighter gave a noticeably more natural result. I also noticed the promised hydration, but depending on how much product you use on your face, it’s obviously not enough alone to moisturize. Rose-scented glitter
This was probably the finest spray I’ve ever sprayed! And it became my fate the first time🥲 I really like to soak my face with setting spray, and with this one, it ended up that I went to the morning shift as a disco ball😂 So my face was full of glitter. I can say that the promised glow was there, just in a slightly different form than I expected. The product description says the product is fragrance-free, but here the rose scent is really strong. I’m not a fan of that scent, but I could handle it. Very light and moisturizing product and not at all a bad price for 100ml! The metal ball inside the bottle made mixing easier. The cap was quite loose and sometimes it was loose in my makeup bag. My expectations for makeup longevity were quite high, but maybe this works more as a brightening product. HOW CAN THIS BE SO AFFORDABLE??
I've been using a grip primer from another brand for ages that does half the work and costs more😵 This feels like spreading honey on the skin but still didn’t feel heavy on the face. The description promises evening out the skin tone, presumably referring to niacinamide, but I haven’t noticed that at least with this use. It definitely gave a lovely glow! The foundation applied beautifully on top and I really felt how this primer gripped it😄 I like the packaging and the pump worked really well! The flat design fits nicely in the makeup bag. My skin didn’t react with breakouts either.
