Review of Million Gold For Her Perfume – Paco Rabanne ✨

📦 Packaging & Design So, the bottle… wow! It’s really like a little gold treasure that shifts from dark to light gold, classy and luxurious all the way through. And the spray mist? Perfect! It distributes the scent evenly and softly. It feels like you’re applying LYX in slow motion every time. 🌸 Scent & First Impression I have to admit – when I first read about the perfume, I thought “yes, this is going to be my new favorite!” But no… unfortunately, it’s not my type of scent. It’s very heavy and floral, and the vanilla I was hoping for feels almost a little shy in the background. I like gourmand scents, a bit sweeter and a bit lighter, so this one is a bit too intense for me. BUT as an evening scent, absolutely. Sensual, luxurious, and glamorous, perfect if you want a scent that says “hey, here I am!” ⏳ Longevity Here I’m really impressed! It stays on both clothes and skin all day, even after a shower. One spray really goes a long way. It’s like the perfume version of a long hug that refuses to let go. 💰 Price Sure, it’s in the more expensive range, but if you like the scent, it’s definitely worth it. Considering the design, luxury feel, and above all, the longevity, you really get a lot for your money. ✅ Summary I’m super grateful that I got to try Million Gold For Her! Unfortunately, it won’t be a new favorite I reach for, but the bottle is so pretty that it almost feels like a piece of jewelry in the bathroom cabinet. #lykorewiev #rewiev

Review of L’Oréal Professionnel Metal DX Cream Leave-In 🧴

I have to say that I was positively surprised by this product! I have fine, frizzy, Scandinavian hair that is not colored. It easily becomes static, loses shine, and quickly looks lifeless. I use heat tools sometimes, but not every day. What made me most curious about the Metal DX series is the whole thing with metal particles in the hair (!) apparently common in Europe due to water quality. This can lead to wear, affect color results, and make hair harder to style, so I was excited to see if the product could make a difference. 🧴 Consistency & application The formula is soft, creamy, and at the same time light. It spreads easily, feels immediately nourishing, and doesn’t sit like a heavy film. I’ve tested using it on both towel-dried and dry hair, but prefer it on damp hair, as it “sucks” in better and gives a finer result. 🌸 Scent Pure salon vibes! Fresh, elegant, and professional, lingers in the hair in a discreet yet luxurious way. Not too strong, not too sweet. ✨ Effect – Noticeable difference? Yes, absolutely! After use, my hair feels softer, more manageable, and significantly less tangled. The biggest difference I notice when I brush out my hair – it goes easier, feels less static, and tangled. Big plus: heat protection up to 230°C. I love products that combine care + protection in one single step. 💁🏽‍♀️ Who is it suitable for? Perfect for fine to normal hair that easily becomes frizzy or sensitive For you who live in an area with hard water or feel that your hair feels “rough” or damaged without a clear reason Works for uncolored hair (tested by me), but will likely be great for colored hair too 🏁 Conclusion This is definitely a product I will use up. It feels like a little bodyguard for the hair: it nourishes, softens, protects, and keeps the hair fresher between washes. I especially like the combination of care + heat protection + anti-metal in one and the same step. Will I buy it again? I’m not entirely sure, even though I like it, it didn’t become a new favorite for me. But my hair and I are very happy to have had the chance to test it! 💚 #lykoreview #review

    Gives shine & reduces frizz

I had the great honor of winning Björn Axén's Repair Bonding Serum in a contest here at Lyko and have now been testing it since the beginning of September. I thought I would share my experience as a little thank you – and maybe help someone else with similar hair find the right product. I have typical Scandinavian hair – thin, damaged, and often frizzy, so I was very curious about what the serum could do for me. The consistency is relatively light and absorbs quickly into the hair without weighing it down, which I really appreciate. However, I find that it is not super economical; I need to use a bit more product to achieve the desired effect. The scent is mild, leaning floral, and feels fresh without being too much. Effect-wise, I clearly notice that the frizz settles down when I use the serum on freshly washed hair, and my hair feels both shinier and has a better structure. It simply feels healthier and more well-cared-for after use, which makes me want to keep using it. For me, it gets a strong 4/5 stars – the effect is really good, but I would have liked the bottle (50 ml for 290 kr) to last a bit longer. Pros: • Light consistency that doesn't weigh the hair down • Mild, nice scent • Gives more shine and better structure • Frizz settles immediately after washing Cons: • Not very economical, requires a bit more product • Relatively expensive compared to the amount #lykotestpilot #review #lykoreview

✨ My review of ELLA ELLA Eau de Parfum from Cacharel ✨

I received a fragrance sample of ELLA ELLA and wow – what a surprise! Right from the first spray, I could tell this is not just any perfume. It opens with an unexpected but really lovely mix of coconut and bergamot – fresh but soft and a little luxurious. After a while, the flowers come out, orange blossom and jasmine – and the whole scent becomes so feminine, self-evident and… yeah, kind of calming? It feels warm, safe, and beautiful. It might sound cliché, but it truly reflects the feeling of being completely yourself. The base with vanilla and patchouli rounds everything off in such a cozy and sensual way. It lingers long without overpowering, and I’ve already received several compliments when I’ve worn it! This is not a perfume that screams – it whispers, but in a way that is noticeable. It’s soft but clear. Feminine without being sugary sweet. And the best part? It feels like it changes a bit depending on mood and occasion. The fact that the bottle is also refillable makes it feel even more thoughtful. A perfume I can absolutely see myself buying in full size – both for the scent and for the message behind it. 💭 ELLA ELLA feels like a perfume for those moments when I want to feel a little extra confident, a little extra pretty – but still like myself. A thousand thanks cacharel! #lykoreview

    Third summer in a row

…and I’m still just as satisfied! This is the third summer I’m using The Skin Agent Move, and I bought it again without hesitation. I’ve used it on both hot weekdays and on vacation trips, it saves me from chafing between my thighs every time. It’s easy to apply, feels soft and pleasant on the skin, and most importantly: it works all day, even when it’s really hot. No rashes, no stickiness, and nothing that ruins my clothes. I recommend it to anyone who wants to avoid chafing and irritation, it does exactly what it promises💛 #lykoreview

Best hair oil I've ever tried!

I've tried many different hair oils over the years, but Bjuwti hair oil really stands out. It makes my hair soft, shiny, and easy to detangle – without feeling heavy or greasy. I use it on both damp and dry hair, and the results are just as good every time. The scent is also absolutely wonderful – fresh but not too strong. I have quite frizzy and dry hair, especially at the ends, but this oil has really helped to give my hair new life. A big plus is that it's economical – a small amount goes a long way. Highly recommended for anyone wanting healthy, shiny hair without the mess! [hashtag]

    4/5

A true classic that delivers volume without hassle! Max Factor 2000 Calorie gives instantly fuller lashes without clumps. The brush is easy to work with, the formula dries quickly and holds well all day without flaking. Perfect for everyday use – but can be built up for more drama. Extra plus for working well for sensitive eyes too. Minus: doesn't separate as much as some newer mascaras, but for volume and durability in the budget range, it's really good. I would gladly buy it again! #lykoreview

Review of Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Leave-In Treatment💋

Okay, let’s talk about the Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Leave-In Treatment. I’ve been using heat tools for way too many years (the flat iron was basically my best friend in high school...), which has left my hair pretty dry, tired, and generally dull. My hair isn’t colored or chemically treated, but it has definitely seen better days. After trying the shampoo in the Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate line (and LOVING it), I was really curious about the leave-in treatment. Feel & Consistency Creamy but light. That’s probably the best way to describe the consistency. It glides through the hair so smoothly, and it feels like the hair just drinks it up. No stickiness, no greasiness, just hydrated, soft, and silky. I’ve tried applying it on both damp and dry hair – and shockingly enough, I think I like it best on dry?! The scent? A dream. It smells like you just left the salon – fresh, a little luxurious, but not overwhelming. It’s that kind of scent that makes you sniff your own hair throughout the day (we all do that, right?). The effect – does it really show? YES. My hair feels stronger, looks shinier, and is above all much easier to detangle after washing. Less frizz, more shine. And yes, it contains heat protection! That’s like gold for us who refuse to let go of the heat tools but still want to maintain healthy and strong hair. Who should try it? Anyone with dry, damaged, heat-damaged hair – whether you color it or not. Do you have fine hair? No problem, a little dollop is enough. Do you have thick, dry hair? Then you can use a bit more, but this is a luxurious gem, so you don’t want to waste it. Conclusion This will stay front and center in my bathroom cabinet. It perfectly complements the shampoo in the line, and together they’ve made a difference for my hair quality. I highly recommend it to anyone who uses heat tools often and wants to give their hair both nourishment and protection without weighing it down. When this little leave-in bottle moved into my bathroom cabinet, my damaged hair said THANK YOU – and so did I! #lykoreview

Exfoliation gone wrong – I scrubbed my face with a scrub glove… 🫠

Okay, let’s talk beauty fails. We’ve all made our mistakes in the quest for baby-soft skin – but this one might just take the cake for me. Once (a pretty long time ago…) I thought it would be a good idea to give my face a "thorough cleaning". And what do you use for that? Yep, a scrub glove. On. The. Whole. Face. I know, I know. Why?! 🫠 Spoiler: it was a horrifically bad idea. Right after, my skin was bright red, sore, and tight like sandpaper. The next day I woke up with both irritation and small breakouts. A week later I was still in damage control mode with soothing creams and zero active ingredients. I can say that Cicaplast baume B5 was the savior in need. So yeah, lesson learned: face = not the same as legs. Now I want to hear from you – What’s your biggest beauty fail? Please say I’m not alone! Share so we can laugh (and cry a little) together!
