Pretty okay.
I got to test this highlighter from #lorealparis as #lykoinflutester. I think it's okay but not super great. I tried using it as a highlighter on my makeup but also just by itself. When I used it by itself, I think it gives a nice light glow over the skin, at least at first. But I don't think this glow lasts very long. After a few hours, I mostly just saw minimal glitter on my face. As a regular highlighter with my other makeup, it held up better, but I was still not completely satisfied. This because it felt a bit too dark. Great primer!
I got to test this primer from #nyxprofessionalmakeup as #lykoinflutester. I think it's great! It feels light on the skin and is easy to apply, it sinks in quickly without feeling sticky. The makeup lasts better throughout the day and the skin looks even. I also find that foundation applies nicer on top of the primer and lasts longer without getting patchy. It works well both for everyday use and when you want your makeup to last a little extra long. Great mascara!
I got to test this mascara from #maybelline as #lykoinflutester. I like it! It's easy to apply and the brush reaches even the shorter lashes without getting clumpy. The lashes look natural and feel a bit longer. The mascara holds up well throughout the day and doesn't flake, which I really appreciate. I've had it on for several hours without it smudging under my eyes. It's also relatively easy to wash off in the evening, which is a big plus. Overall, this is a really good mascara for everyday use. What brings down the rating for me is that I don't notice a big difference in volume or fullness. When I don't have my eyeliner with me, or don't feel like messing with eyeliner, I usually use tape and eyeshadow to still get the same feeling as when I use eyeliner. Good but hard to use autowrap
I got to test this product from #SILKN as #LYKOINFLUTESTER. I thought it was so fun to get to try this! About my hair: I have a lot of hair, very long and thick (goes down to my butt) and that makes the hair heavy and can have a hard time holding curls. It also takes a very long time before my hair is completely dry. The packaging it comes in is super nice. It comes in a stylish and sleek bag where all the parts are included. It is lovely and easy to hold. However, it can be hard to find the buttons if you don't look since they don't stick out very much. The dryer I think worked well. The hair dried pretty fast, even though it still takes time for me due to the thickness of my hair. It makes some noise, but I wouldn't say it makes more noise than other dryers. The paddle brush and round brush are also good. It was convenient to switch between the different parts. I liked the paddle brush as it made the hair dry, smooth, and straight at the same time. The round brush gave a nice shiny finish where the hair curled a bit at the ends. I found the round brush very easy to use on my bangs to get the desired shape. I have always wanted to try a curling iron with autowrap like this. It felt hard to use at first. I didn't understand from the instruction manual how to curl the hair. Instead, I searched for some videos on how to use it. When I finally understood how to do it, it was still hard to get the curls right. I'm wondering if my hair might be too long for the barrels that the hair is supposed to curl around. I felt like the hair started to spin, but when it spun higher up, the tips of the hair fell out. It could also be that I just need more time to practice using the autowrap. Overall, I am very satisfied with it, but since I had trouble getting curls with the autowrap, it brings the score down a bit. Good product but poor spray function
I got to test this heat protectant from #waterclouds as #lykoinflutester. The product itself works really well, and I feel that my hair feels softer and more gentle on the hair when it comes to heat styling. The scent is also a big plus – fresh and a bit salon-like without being too strong. What brings down the overall impression is the spray function. The product comes out as a stream, I would have preferred more of a mist. This makes it feel quite unevenly distributed when you have the product in your hair, some parts of the hair get wet while others hardly get any at all. My best solution to this has been to spray it in my hand and then try to distribute the product evenly in my hair with my hands. Doesn't hold when you sweat
As #lykoinflutester I got to try this sunscreen from #beautyofjoseon. I have used the shade LN110. I really want to like it and I see a lot of positives about it, but in the end, I'm not that satisfied as it doesn't hold for long. ➕ I think the shade matches my skin tone well. The consistency of the product is quite loose and runny. I found it easier to apply directly to my face instead of first putting it in my hand and then on my face. It glides on easily and feels nice on the skin. Afterwards, it feels a bit like velvet on the skin. It also has a light and pleasant scent. When I put it on, I see that it gives a slightly more even color to my face, but I don't feel that it covers that much, it's really just tinted, so if you want heavier coverage, I wouldn't recommend this. It feels very convenient for me as a mom of small children to put on to get a slightly more even skin tone and sun protection without having to stand and do my makeup. ➖ I have tested this for a period when it has been over 25 degrees every day, and I sweat easily a lot, especially in my face. This made the product sweat off very quickly, in just a couple of hours. When I used an antiperspirant for the face underneath, it lasted a bit longer, but it doesn't hold up for a whole day. The comment was made 5 monthsThe one I tried is called Ducray Hidrosis Control Cream. I think it works okay but not super well. It feels really good at first when you apply it, but when I started sweating a lot on my forehead and nose, it came through. But it held up well on my cheeks, which isn’t a place I usually sweat that much, so I guess that’s why it held up well 😆 I haven’t had time to try any other.
