Good but not the best
I’m a sucker for this type of cleansers since I always do double cleanse and like to start with something oilier and follow up with a foaming cleanser! I loved the consistency which is a bit like rubbing coconut oil on my face, and the makeup (especially my waterproof eyeliner and mascara) just falls off immediately. It doesn’t feel drying, doesn’t smell noteworthy, and does the job nicely as a first cleanse! The reason I’m not giving it a higher rating is that I think there are products at a cheaper price (Banila Co for example) that do exactly the same thing, and ultimately that’s what makes me not want to buy this product - however, I will use up this whole jar without hesitation. #lykotestpilot #mamonde1 product in post Good but not the best153 views - The post was made 4 daysRating: 4 out of 5
A new friend!
I see that previous reviews praise the packaging, for me it reminds me of Austin Power alternatively it feels like products made for tweenies, but taste is like the backside and it’s the content that is essential! My first impression after applying the cream is how moisturizing it feels, and that it’s basically scent-free which is lovely! I became skeptical when I saw that it was "retinol infused" since I know that anything that can potentially dry out my skin will turn it into the Sahara Desert 2.0 and when it comes to retinol it has taken years of training and experimenting to find what works for me. I have previously only managed to apply retinol every third day without my skin freaking out, but here I went in hard and have been using it every night for two weeks and… *fanfare* my skin really likes this cream! I haven’t had major issues with large pores before, however pimples and especially during weather changes or at a certain time of the month… this testing period has managed to hit both, and despite this it’s been a long time since my skin felt this good! I’ve only tested for two weeks so far, but it really feels like we are on to something good - me and my new friend! Looking forward to testing the whole tube, looking less forward to this potentially becoming a new must-have in my bathroom cabinet which stings a bit financially. #lykotestpilot #mamonde1 product in post A new friend!141 views - The post was made 4 daysRating: 4 out of 5
The Glow Must Go On
I had the honor of being a #lykotestpilot for the Rose Liquid mask from #mamonde, which was a hell of a luck since I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have found this product myself. My first impression of the product was the packaging, and it made me skeptical because it gave flower power vibes and felt like it was robbing my bathroom cabinet of all the adult points that had accumulated in there with more sterile packaging. So we got an unfair start where I didn’t want to like the product. The shock when the product itself instead smelled like a rose perfume that would have made my grandmother tear up with joy was therefore total. I muttered a bit that the whole product felt like it was going through an identity crisis - exterior like a tweenie and a scent that would have fit in the Victorian era… Despite this shaky start, I have now used the product morning and night for two weeks. My 34-year-old skin is of the more sensitive kind, and especially this time of year I’m dry as a bone. Active products tend to be risky business (it took months to recover from snail slime). Besides this, my skin is very sensitive when I get stressed (which I seem to have established as a personality trait this fall) and to hormonal influences. Often it’s when the first pimples appear that I realize that "it’s that time of the month". All of this has coincided with when I tested this product, so it has gone through an Olympic round in testing due to the circumstances, so to speak, and I’m impressed! My otherwise sensitive skin has loved this product! Before I tested it, for example, the skin around my nostrils was flaking due to dryness, which is completely gone now. I feel like I’ve gotten a glow that I haven’t noticed in the same way from other products, and not a blemish in sight right now! I like this product to the extent that the packaging has gone from irritating me to being seen as a welcome color bomb. I accept the rose scent for the results, but that it’s so strong is the only thing that doesn’t give it a full score. So from a tough start to me being dependent on having this product in my bathroom cabinet. Feels like holding onto an old destructive cliché, but in this case, love started with a fight (from my side, the product was silent).1 product in post The Glow Must Go On304 views- The comment was made 4 daysReally a completely wonderful review ❤️🤣 And it sounds after your little battle like a real highlight 😝💖
