I bought two different calendars this year.
One from Isadora and this one from Makeup Store. I felt like I needed a little extra pick me up this fall to cope. I don't plan to open them in advance, but we'll see how long I can resist 😅 Sometimes you just need to reconnect with the child inside who got so excited about advent calendars! But both Isadora's and Makeup Store's seem to give us value for money. But time will tell! Red eyes - be gone!
Really love this one! Most other pencils tend to be dry and/or don’t hold up at the waterline at all. But this one is pleasantly soft and magically covers the redness so well! I’ve been using Sweeds products more and more and haven’t been disappointed even once so far. I’m going to buy another one but in a different shade. Which are NO-no/ to combine and which are Yes-YES to combine? Please HELP!!!🫶🏻
Hi! Is it possible to combine this (in different ways morning/evening) with Argireline 10%, Gf 15%, Matrixyl 10++ HA, Hyaluronic Acid 2%+B5, and Volufiline 92%+ Pal-Isoleucine 1? Niacinamide… All from The Ordinary. Not necessarily at the same time but on the same day? And which should you then combine/avoid combining? The comment was made 1 weekHi Cat! 🫶🏻 The Ordinary shelf can easily become a full chemistry lab! 😄 There is no clear combination to avoid between Matrixyl 10% + HA, Argireline 10%, GF 15%, Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5, Niacinamide 10% + Zinc, and Volufiline, so they can be used on the same day. However, you don’t need to use them all in the same routine, as several overlap and the skin can get irritated or the products may start to pill. A calmer approach is GF 15% or Argireline 10% in the morning, followed by Niacinamide, Hyaluronic Acid, moisturizer, and SPF. In the evening, you can use Matrixyl 10% + HA, possibly Hyaluronic Acid, moisturizer, and Volufiline last on the areas where you want to apply it. Argireline and Matrixyl can be used together, but since both are peptide serums, you can also alternate between them. GF 15% is also peptide-based, so try to avoid layering all three every time. Start with a few products and add one at a time. Niacinamide 10% can be strong for some, so pause the most recently added product if you experience stinging, redness, or irritation. It’s a good idea to test on a small area first and always use SPF during the day 💛1 likes

Multifunctional
I use this both on my face, but I accidentally discovered, when I dropped the bottle on the floor and it splashed a bit on my leg (don’t ask me how it happened, I’ve stopped asking myself how weird things happen to me 😅) and I reflexively wiped my lower leg with the bamboo pad I had in my hand, and my leg became so smooth! So when I then shaved, there were no "razor bumps" (or whatever you call them) there, which is usually always the case. I also tried it under my arms before shaving and hey, it works fine there too! I don’t know if this might be common knowledge that I’ve missed so far… But on the other hand, the best inventions often come from "mistakes" 🤷🏻♀️ Anyway! It’s also good on the face and neck. It was time for a new deodorant
This month’s inspection of the bathroom cabinet revealed to me that it was time for a new deodorant, and I thought I’d be a little “wild and crazy” so I tried a random variant that showed up after I ordered other stuff, and generally I don’t take chances on new things when I don’t have a backup at home. But AAAAH, I’m so glad I did!! I have sensitive skin everywhere, including under my arms, and even though it’s a bit perfumed (smells a little like men’s cologne), it _does not_ _itch_ _at all_, which deodorants always do to me. But that’s not all! It had to work hard the same day I tested it (if it’s a test, it’s a _test_) for the first time because it was close to 28-30 degrees outside and my body reacted as it does at that temperature – soaking wet on my back etc., but under my arms bone dry! I've struggled with calcified faucets since I moved into my apartment (around 2014) to the point where it was impossible to turn the faucet properly. But a few uses of this and it looks like I installed new faucets! 🏗️ Totally crazy! And wonderful. I see that it's sold out and that makes me a little sad.
