I've been testing this straightener from GHD for a while, I should say it's my first time testing GHD as well, and I got BACKWARDS HAIRSTYLE. Assa.. it glides so smoothly down the hair, straightening the hair has been a dream. But, I couldn't stop there.. I needed a setting spray in a hurry before a trip, so I impulsively tested this in travel size. When I got home, I immediately bought the full size! Who says cheap can't be good? This setting spray has a nice spray, no strong scent, and keeps the makeup in place for a long time. The runny consistency and citrus scent are fresh, but for thin and damaged hair, it might not provide enough moisture and softening, and therefore the hair can become frizzy and difficult to comb. The dryness and skin reactions you experienced suggest that the formula might be a bit too "active" for a sensitive scalp and split ends. In the last month, I have been so lucky to test several products from the Waterclouds series, including this Leave-in treatment 💕 It is important to highlight that I have TYPICAL Scandinavian hair, we are talking thin, damaged, the ends are breaking off, and I experience that the hair does not absorb moisture. In other words, I am skeptical about what hair products promise: «this nourishing leave-in cream repairs the hair deeply, strengthens and adds moisture, as well as provides heat protection (up to 230 °C) and fights frizz» I find that the treatment has a consistency that resembles a combination of serum and cream. I recommend taking a little at a time and distributing it through the hair. Result? I do not experience less frizz.. it is great for a few hours and then it is just as it usually is.
