”ROUND”, FRUITY AND SWEET SCENT 💌
I received a fragrance sample of the new Ella Ella. Huge thanks for the trust #cacharel! The vanilla in this perfume really makes the whole scent. It becomes a balancing ”round” on the skin, without the sweetness taking over too much. Besides the calm ”round” in the scent, a fruity sweet scent dominates that is incredibly pleasant. The sweetness marries perfectly with the vanilla, and together they create a harmony. I can't smell much coconut in the perfume, which for me is a positive since I'm not a big fan of coconut scents! Surprisingly lasts long on the skin, and it’s not a scent that needs to be reapplied during the day. It really holds for 12 hours! Perfect for all ages since it has the sweetness in it but also the ”round” balancing that makes the scent more ”mature”. Huge thanks for the trust! 💌 During the testing period, I tried blow-drying my hair with both a round brush (for more volume) and with a paddle brush for a more ”even” and straight result. ☁️ MY HAIR QUALITY I have typically Scandinavian hair. Thin, fine hair strands, but extremely many hair strands which makes my hair thick. My hair is usually straight, but also has a natural wave if the hair is air-dried with a lot of moisture and caring products in it. My hair tends to tangle, which contributes to small knots at the end of the day, so I prefer hair care with moisture and a result that doesn’t ”weigh down” my hair due to my thin fine strands. ☁️ APPEARANCE, SIZE, AND FEATURES This hair dryer is top-notch in terms of appearance! This dryer screams luxury, professional, compact, and convenience. The dryer is matte black with silver details that stand out even more against the matte black. Incredibly elegant! Besides the sleek appearance, the hair dryer feels sturdy in the hand throughout the styling process. I find it easy to work with due to its lightweight and handy size. There are three different settings on the dryer, I have so far used the ”medium” strength ll, and my hair has dried very quickly! For those who desire a more lasting result, there is also a cool air function to set the hairstyle. An extra big plus for a relatively quiet dryer, I have never tested such an effective yet quiet hair dryer before. ☁️ RESULT When styling with a round brush, this dryer is to die for! It is easy to angle, twist, etc. during the process. I get beautiful natural volume in my otherwise flat hair that lasts almost a whole day. When drying with a paddle brush, the hair dryer has given me a relatively frizz-free result, and this has also lasted all day. MOISTURE AND PEPTIDES 💌
As a #LYKOINFLUTESTER, I had the honor of testing a serum from the #THEORDINARY range. A moisture and peptide serum that MAXES the skin with moisture! 💦 Also super good for you if you want to work preventively on fine lines without strong active ingredients. 🧴 MY SKIN TYPE I have a normal-dry skin type that can easily become clogged with too rich products, for example. I have some enlarged pores on my cheeks and nose. When exposed to too strong fragrances, my skin can react and become red and inflamed. I have some pale scars from acne on one cheek and finally some fine lines (32 years). 🧴 SCENT/TEXTURE Scent: I can hardly smell anything. I would claim that it is fragrance-free for my nose. Texture/Consistency: The serum has a thicker texture and resembles gel in consistency. However, it absorbs well despite its thicker texture. Leaves a slightly "sticky" feeling, which is great when you feel a bit drier in the skin! 🧴 RESULTS A really good serum for restoring the moisture balance in my skin. I have used this during the day and on the evenings when I felt extra dry in my skin. My skin feels softer, more supple, and my enlarged pores appear smaller. I assume due to the serum's moisture boost! I love that the serum contains peptides - I feel my fine lines are less defined, maybe just because of this ingredient? I feel hydrated all day long and even when I wash my face in the evening! I will love this serum even more after a day at the beach when my skin has been dried out by the sun's rays! And among the most important: the product has not triggered any acne for me. Top! 🧴 PROS + I feel hydrated all day long. + Economical product (does not require much product when applying). About 2-3 drops. + Good pipette that picks up enough product. + I feel my fine lines are less defined. + Gives a beautiful glow that lasts all day. + Has not triggered any acne. 🧴 CONS I can't think of anything negative about the product since it has worked so well for me. A product for all skin types and ages. 🧴 MY SKIN TYPE I have a normal-dry skin type that can easily become clogged with too oily products, for example. I have some enlarged pores on my cheeks and nose. When exposed to too many strong fragrances, my skin can react and become red and inflamed. I have some pale scars from acne on one cheek and finally some fine lines (32 years old). 🧴 SCENT/TEXTURE Scent: Hmm.. Faint faint scent of like, mushroom? Hard to describe scent, but a scent that disappears quickly after application (one doesn’t need to be afraid of smelling like mushrooms 🍄) haha! However, no “damp” mushroom scent, smells more like fresh mushrooms. Texture/Consistency: Light but still a bit milky/gel feel. Not as light as water, but also not as thick as a gel. A perfect blend between toner/essence. 🧴 RESULTS A toner to love! Very nice for the skin morning and night. Incredibly moisturizing despite the light formula. I usually pat this in two “layers” in the evening before serum, in the morning the skin is hydrated, plump, and has a beautiful healthy glow. I skip the morning wash (of the face) due to dry skin right now and pat this in one layer, then my serum. My skin feels hydrated the entire day, until it’s time for the evening routine. Usually, I feel dry in the afternoon, but with The Ordinary’s toner, my skin is balanced all day! An extra plus is that it hasn’t triggered my acne during the testing period, rather the opposite. Not a single pimple, my skin feels calm for once. 🧴 PLUS + The texture/consistency is a mix between water/gel. Gives a “milky” feel. + Absorbs incredibly well into the skin. + I feel hydrated ALL day. + Doesn’t require much product for the face. + Wake up every morning with plump and hydrated skin. + It hasn’t triggered my acne. + I experience my skin as more balanced and “calm”. 🧴 MINUS - The only “negative” about this toner is the glass bottle. Texture: Very thin serum that really sinks into the skin, but leaves an incredibly beautiful glow. Despite the thin consistency, the serum hydrates and repairs my skin overnight! 🧴 RESULTS Got my glow back in my skin because of this serum! I wake up every morning with hydrated, calm, and “plump” skin. I think the serum has had an extreme effect on dry lines! I thought I was starting to get deeper lines until I realized I was very dry after winter. A few nights with this, and now my lines are gone! I feel more balanced in my skin overall since I introduced this into my routine. My absolute favorite! I will NEVER be without at least 1 tube of this. The lip balm gives the perfect kissable “rosy” color, doesn’t stick, doesn’t give too much pigment (but not too little either), leaves the lips moisturized and 👄 shines like never before! The color and shine have good longevity even though it’s a balm. Full score. I am absolutely not a fan of the scent, but since everything else about this lip balm is PERFECT, it definitely outweighs it! A balm you didn’t know you needed. I also think the scent lingers for almost the whole day. The hair gets a fruity, fresh, and just-washed scent. ☁️ RESULT Mmmmmm. Like butter for the hair! In a very positive way. Feels incredibly nourishing. I apply it to damp hair after showering. The hair becomes easy to detangle, easy to comb, and super smooth! My hair tends to tangle which contributes to small knots at the end of the day. Therefore, I usually prefer hair care with moisture and a hair care that doesn't weigh my hair down because of my thin fine strands. This season my hair becomes extremely static (due to the dry air). ☁️ SCENT WOW! Addictively delicious! Smells like a summer meadow mixed with a candy bowl with scents of lemon and vanilla. I, who prefer warmer/sweeter scents, love this, absolutely perfect! ☁️ RESULTS Extremely hard to determine the heat protecting effect. However, the hair becomes soft, manageable, and smells fantastic after use. My hair is less static when I have used this. An extra big plus for being an “all-in-one” product, even if you don’t use heat protection, the product is fantastic as a lighter leave-in conditioner. I will definitely continue to use the product during the summer to see how it reacts on warm days! ☁️ PLUS + A bit “thicker” consistency, which makes the product incredibly economical (a little product goes a long way). + Hair becomes soft and manageable. + My hair has become less static when using it. + LOVE the scent.
