Moisture Bomb
My starting point: Almost 30 years old skin. Gets very dry and sensitive in the winter - so here we are now. I have been able to test this product for three weeks now. I have no previous experience with The Ordinary products. The product is sleek, and the packaging says something about the content. The product is in a lower price range than what I usually go for when buying skincare products, so I am initially a bit skeptical. But when I get the product on my skin, I become more engaged. The cream is thick in consistency and lays protectively on the skin. It gives a very nice glow! The skin is ready for makeup right on top. I have used it both morning and night. It seems quite economical in use. My skin is still dry and feels stripped after cleansing if I don’t apply moisture right away. So it’s not a miracle product, but at this price, it’s just to run and buy. #lykoinflutester #theordinary1 product in post Moisture Bomb51 views - The post was made 2 daysRating: 1 out of 5Verifierad testare
Not really a fan..
My starting point: 30-year-old lips. Notoriously a lip balm user for at least 15 of those years.. I’ve been testing this product for a few weeks now. I must honestly say that I’m basically very skeptical about having acid products in my mouth. And after testing this, my skepticism didn’t really improve. The bottle has a dropper that I apply to my lips. It goes on okay on the lips, I’ve let it dry a bit before applying lip balm on top (before bedtime). It stings a little for a short while after application. Now, I don’t have dry lips, so the effect isn’t ground breaking either. It’s like a lip scrub without the scrub particles. I won’t be using this any further. All in all, I’m probably the wrong test person for this product. It might work great for others. #lykoinflutester #theordinary1 product in post Not really a fan..49 views - The post was made 2 daysRating: 3 out of 5Verifierad testare
Glow glow glow
My starting point: Dry, slightly sensitive winter skin I have been trying this serum for three weeks now. I have no experience with the ordinary before. The first impression is good, the packaging is somewhat pharmacy-like but I can like that. It has a dropper and that’s a nice solution. I think the product comes out easily. I take it first in my hand and then on my face. The serum is quite oily. It sits nicely on the skin and absorbs well. I think it gives a pretty glowy effect! I don’t feel any sting/tingling sensation that I see others write about. After using it for a while, I can’t see any "plumping" effects. My skin is basically quite smooth/clean and has few irregularities and not so many wrinkles yet. So it might have a bigger effect on a face where there is more to work with. Therefore, three stars from me! It also seems very economical in use. #lykoinflutester #theordinary1 product in post Glow glow glow - The post was made 3 monthsRating: 4 out of 5Verifierad testare
Glowy
My starting point: dry winter skin I have tested the product for about 1 month now, in combination with rich moist cream. First impression: clean design, practical packaging. I really like the pump bottle. The serum is clear and has no scent (something I appreciate). I like that it is for sensitive skin, even though my skin can handle most things. I'm not a big fan of having products on my face with a lot of perfume in them. The serum has a slightly thin consistency, and that's actually what I deduct one star for as well. It's just a personal preference that I like my serums a bit thick. When I apply the serum, I get an immediate glow. It doesn't stand out much from other serums I've tried before, but it does the job. I spend a lot of time outside in my job, so I need to have a skincare routine with good products, especially in winter. In combination with the cream from the same series, I think my skin has stayed very hydrated despite days outside in the frost ❄️ The serum is a full 80 ml, and the price is impeccable. All in all, I would gladly buy again ⭐️ #lykoinflutester #klairs1 product in post Glowy360 views - The post was made 3 monthsRating: 5 out of 5Verifierad testare
Perfect fall/winter cream!
Starting point: dry skin First impression: a "classic" simple design. I really like the size of the tube. Personally, I am very fond of tube creams so I don't have to dip my fingers into jars. I have tested the cream in combination with the serum from the same line. I have used the cream both morning and night. The cream is thick and compact when it comes out of the tube. I love how it feels on the skin. I don't smell much of it, which I like. The cream absorbs well/lays well on the skin despite being so thick. I can apply makeup directly on top after application. It is absolutely perfect for me now in the fall/winter, as I often become drier. I definitely feel that my skin is more hydrated since I started using this. A big plus that it is gentle and for sensitive skin. I haven't tried Klairs' products before, and I must say I am impressed. The price is impeccable, and that there are a full 80 ml in the tube is just great. I would gladly buy this again! #lykoinflutester #klairs1 product in post Perfect fall/winter cream!2502 views - The post was made 4 monthsRating: 5 out of 5Verifierad testare
Quality Brush
My first impression: I am impressed and in love with the simple and pretty design. It is fantastically soft and feels like it is of good quality that can last a long time. That is important to me. It is easy to work in product with. For the brush, I got to test the melted butter bronzer from rebecca stella. These two go hand in hand. If you get one, you should also buy the other to achieve a good result. The price is also very nice. #lykoinflutester #rebeccastella1 product in post Quality Brush84 views - The post was made 4 monthsRating: 5 out of 5Verifierad testare
Sun-kissed Glow
My starting point: normal skin, starting to get a bit autumn pale. I originally also used a creamy bronzer. Picture 1: me with only base products Picture 2: me when I applied the product without blending it in Picture 3: blended the product, finished result My first impression was "help". I'm used to cream bronzer, but this one was a bit different. It's as described, melt-y. And I had applied WAY too much. I had to experiment a bit, and a little goes a long way with this. I barely tap the cream bronzer brush which is stippled (it gets difficult to use a brush that isn't stippled for this). Then I work it out with circular motions. And oh my, it looks so nice! I love the caramel color for my light skin. I really get that sun-kissed glow that I want. The design of the box is great, and it doesn't take up much space, which is a plus for me. I can see this product lasting for years, so economical as it is in use. Can really recommend. The only thing I have to criticize is that it might not be suitable for people who don't have experience with bronzer. It requires quite a bit of work. And it also requires the right brush. #lykoinflutester #rebeccastella1 product in post Sun-kissed Glow246 views - The post was made 9 monthsRating: 3 out of 5Verifierad testare
Good if you only want shine!
My starting point: natural hair color. Not very damaged, but I use heat tools in my hair almost every day. Nice Nordic hair. My first impression with this serum is the scent. It smells heavenly! I personally have straight hair from before and usually avoid serums, as they make my hair TOO soft and smooth (luxury problem, I know). But if I’m going to use a serum/oil, I’d prefer it to nourish my hair more than this. This only laid on like a gloss film on my hair, I felt. Water-like consistency. But nothing to complain about in terms of the shine it gave✨ The packaging is clean and aesthetically beautiful, I like the gold details. Now I have used this, and the other products in the hair series, for about a month. My hair is soft, has more moisture in it, and not least more shine. Since I have used shampoo, conditioner, hair mask, heat protection spray, and serum from the same brand, I can’t give all the credit to this - but the products have really impressed me. I found it difficult to show a before and after picture, so I’ll rather attach a video. Here I have used all the products mentioned above. The price is also absolutely not bad. I probably won’t buy this again. #lykoinflutester #izelbeauty #m1 product in post Good if you only want shine!1119 views - The post was made 9 monthsRating: 5 out of 5Verifierad testare
God
My starting point: natural hair color. Not very damaged, but I use heat tools in my hair almost every day. Nice Nordic hair. My first impression with this heat protection spray is the scent. It smells heavenly! I spray it through my whole hair when it's towel-dried. I find it a bit difficult to "evaluate" a heat protection spray, but this one doesn't weigh my hair down, it absorbs right in and has a good scent. That's really all I need from a heat protection spray. The packaging is clean and aesthetically pleasing. Now I have been using this, and the other products in the hair series, for about a month. My hair is soft, has more moisture in it, and not least more shine. Glossy
My starting point: natural hair color. Not very damaged, but I use heat tools in my hair almost every day. Nice Nordic hair. My first impression with this conditioner is the scent. It smells heavenly! I shampoo my hair twice like I usually do, distribute the conditioner, and let it sit while I wash my body. I think it keeps my hair clean for a LONG time! And since the scent is a bit strong in it, my hair smells good for several days. The conditioner makes my hair smooth and glossy, easy to comb. The packaging is clean and aesthetic, I like the gold details. Now I have been using this, and the other products in the hair series, for about a month.
