Longevity Multi-Zone Gels
This time I tested #xlash gel masks! I was especially excited that the product has separate pieces for different areas of the face, so they fit all face shapes. Sheet masks have the tricky part that they come in one size and are not always the right shape. There are 3 different shapes, and for each shape, there are 30 gel strips. Two of these three are used in pairs (one for each side of the face), so if you use all parts according to the instructions, you get 15 uses, and then 15 forehead pieces would still be left over. Of course, you can use them however you like, but I noticed this mismatch while following the instructions, and in my opinion, the product description gives the impression that there would be 30 total uses. The instructions advise keeping them in the fridge, and I recommend this too! I am very satisfied that the gel strips are easy to place and stay well on the face without dripping like many similar products I have tried. The strips are also made of durable material and don’t tear easily, for example, if a nail hits them. Can be used before makeup. The product has no scent, which is a good plus! I leave the mask on the face for about 20 minutes, and after use, the skin feels soft, refreshed, and moisturized. I haven’t really noticed a visible difference in fine lines, but of course, the hydration from the mask makes the skin look more vibrant overall. I have been using the #therabody mask for 1.5 months now, almost every day, and here is my honest review and thoughts about the product! For background, my skin is dry and quite sensitive. ⭐️ My first impression was WOW!! The device felt very high quality and sturdy. ⭐️ I tried to find information on how often the mask should be used but couldn’t find a direct answer. I have used it almost daily, 6-7 times a week, and haven’t noticed any negative effects. ⭐️ The mask charges with the included cable and is very easy to use. Two buttons, one controls the lights and the other the head vibrations. The battery lasts a long time; I charge the mask every couple of weeks. ⭐️ The head straps are quite firm, probably because they have integrated vibration. They were a bit tricky to put on at first. ⭐️ Already during the first use, I noticed that the head “massage” feature was not pleasant for me. The straps vibrate and make noise, which reduced the feeling of relaxation. So I always use the mask without the head massage. ⭐️ The mask is really easy to use; I use the automatic 12-minute program. It goes through different modes by itself and turns off when the program is done. ⭐️ The mask is quite sturdy and somewhat heavy. Even though the straps can be adjusted, the mask still presses on my nose and upper cheeks during use. If needed, I can support the weight with my hand underneath. ⭐️ Tip: I would say it’s good to clean the inside of the mask occasionally, especially around the eyes where the product surface touches the skin. I have wiped it a couple of times with a cotton pad and cleanser. ⭐️ And then maybe the most important part: the results!! According to the description, visible results should be noticed after 8 weeks of use. I have definitely noticed that my skin looks brighter, more vibrant, and with a more even tone! I am very happy with the results and believe and hope that with regular use, these results will become even more pronounced. However, I would note that I myself only noticed the difference last week, so you need to be patient with this product. I would hope it would be possible to choose a version without the head massage. This might affect the price and be an extra feature that could be added if desired, as it doesn’t add value for everyone. Everlasting.Colour Rinse
I got this #kevinmurphy conditioner to test, and here are my thoughts after a couple of weeks of trying it out. For background, my hair is a bit dry at the ends, and I wash my hair 2 times a week. I don’t dye my hair, so unfortunately, I can’t assess the conditioner’s effect on color retention in the hair. I have to admit that I’m not a fan of this bottle. It’s hard to hold in the shower so that the product doesn’t spill out while I’m washing my hair. The bottle has to be laid on its side (if it fits) or the cap has to be closed, which makes my hair washing routine a bit more cumbersome and clumsy. I can only open this cap using my teeth (which I don’t recommend) because the cap is extremely tight, so I’d prefer to just leave it open 🤭. I also don’t like the scent of the product; I can’t really describe it - maybe somewhat medicinal. The shampoo from this same product line leaves my hair so dry that it screams for the conditioner’s moisture. This conditioner might not quite deliver the desired level of moisture, shine, and softness that I generally expect from a conditioner, but it does take care of the worst tangles and dryness left by the shampoo. However, I would choose this and the mask in between Kevin Murphy’s Hydrate me Masque, which feels like it treats the hair better. The product also has a strange name; I wouldn’t be able to tell that Colour Rinse means a conditioner for colored hair. I was given the chance to test this #kevinmurphy shampoo, and here are my thoughts after a couple of weeks of trying it out. Hydrate me Masque
I have tested this #kevinmurphy hair mask and here are my thoughts after a couple of weeks. For background, my hair is quite dry at the ends and I wash my hair 2 times a week. I usually don’t use hair masks but I use conditioner as well as leave-in conditioner and hair oil after the shower. The mask has a very thick consistency but spreads easily. The scent is very strong and perfumey, it smells just like a perfume bottle, which isn’t really to my taste. However, it doesn’t linger in my hair for too long, in my opinion. The mask should be left in the hair for about ten minutes, which is longer than I’m used to. My hair does feel soft when rinsing it out, but unfortunately, I didn’t notice that my hair looked particularly more hydrated or shinier after the shower.
