Everlasting.Colour Rinse
I got this #kevinmurphy conditioner to test, and here are my thoughts after a couple of weeks of trying it out. For background, my hair is a bit dry at the ends, and I wash my hair 2 times a week. I don’t dye my hair, so unfortunately, I can’t assess the conditioner’s effect on color retention in the hair. I have to admit that I’m not a fan of this bottle. It’s hard to hold in the shower so that the product doesn’t spill out while I’m washing my hair. The bottle has to be laid on its side (if it fits) or the cap has to be closed, which makes my hair washing routine a bit more cumbersome and clumsy. I can only open this cap using my teeth (which I don’t recommend) because the cap is extremely tight, so I’d prefer to just leave it open 🤭. I also don’t like the scent of the product; I can’t really describe it - maybe somewhat medicinal. The shampoo from this same product line leaves my hair so dry that it screams for the conditioner’s moisture. This conditioner might not quite deliver the desired level of moisture, shine, and softness that I generally expect from a conditioner, but it does take care of the worst tangles and dryness left by the shampoo. However, I would choose this and the mask in between Kevin Murphy’s Hydrate me Masque, which feels like it treats the hair better. The product also has a strange name; I wouldn’t be able to tell that Colour Rinse means a conditioner for colored hair. I was given the chance to test this #kevinmurphy shampoo, and here are my thoughts after a couple of weeks of trying it out. I have to admit that I’m not a fan of this shampoo bottle. It’s hard to keep it in the shower so that the product doesn’t run out when washing my hair. Hydrate me Masque
I have tested this #kevinmurphy hair mask and here are my thoughts after a couple of weeks. For background, my hair is quite dry at the ends and I wash my hair 2 times a week. I usually don’t use hair masks but I use conditioner as well as leave-in conditioner and hair oil after the shower. The mask has a very thick consistency but spreads easily. The scent is very strong and perfumey, it smells just like a perfume bottle, which isn’t really to my taste. However, it doesn’t linger in my hair for too long, in my opinion. The mask should be left in the hair for about ten minutes, which is longer than I’m used to. My hair does feel soft when rinsing it out, but unfortunately, I didn’t notice that my hair looked particularly more hydrated or shinier after the shower. Tested #makeupstore mascara🎀 The quality of mascaras is currently so high that this particular product unfortunately doesn't reach the same level. Here are my final thoughts on the product: ✨The brush is precise and easy to use ✨ The product felt quite dry right from the first application, which has both good and bad sides. Not bad, but not perfect💁♀️
I was happily able to test this #makeupstore concealer, and here are my experiences and final thoughts on the product👸🏻✨✨ In summary (TL;DR): 👉There should be more color options than just two 👉The product requires testing and a bit of effort to get it to work best for you. 👉A good, moisturizing skincare routine would be especially important before using the product 👉 The product may clump if too much is applied or it may emphasize dry spots ☃️My skin is quite dry, especially in the coldest seasons, and based on my experience, this product worked best when I applied it to my face with my fingers. The warmth of the skin helps the product to melt and settle more evenly. With a makeup brush, the product stuck more easily to the dry areas of the skin and emphasized the skin's unevenness. 🥲I was initially a bit unsure if all three shades would suit me, especially since there are only two color options. I would have also liked swatches of these options side by side. I use the orange shade the most, as it really brightens the under-eye area. The green and the lightest shade were too light for concealers, but I use the lightest shade specifically for detailed highlighting, and it works well for that. I wish the shades had matched my skin tone so that I wouldn't have to apply foundation on top of this. 🧡I wish that orange shade could be sold individually!! 🫶In the end, after several tries and learning, I got 2/3 shades to work for me, but it really did require a bit of effort. #lykoinflutester1 product in post Not bad, but not perfect💁♀️1257 views
