This whole ”glass skin” thing feels like it will never go out of trend. The main ingredient in the mask is snail secretion that deeply hydrates, soothes, and improves skin texture, but there’s also low molecular weight collagen, niacinamide, allantoin, and a total of FIVE types of hyaluronic acid! The mask itself is made of hydrogel technology that helps transport the active ingredients deep into the skin. During the application, you’ll notice how the mask goes from thick and white to thin and transparent. When it’s transparent, the treatment is done. I took the opportunity to buy these masks when there was a little sale. The price was 189 kr instead of the regular price of 249 kr. But still a bit on the pricey side😅 I was really excited to try this type of mask since you see them everywhere on social media. So I had very high expectations. So my daughter and I sat down with the masks on the couch one Friday night. Unfortunately, it was not for me. Way too long to have it on. I think it was 3-4 hours. I know some people wear it all night😴 The disappointment was huge when I finally got to see the result. Red spots on my forehead. Me, who usually never reacts to new products. The glow and plumpness were completely absent. My skin looked exactly the same after (except for the slightly stinging red spots on my forehead then😧). Overhyped
I was really looking forward to trying this mask, but I have to say I was a bit disappointed. I used it until it became transparent, and felt it hydrated my skin right after use, but not as much moisture as I had hoped for. It also gave barely any glossy effect. The effect of the mask didn’t seem to last as my skin felt just as dry and normal the next day. Luckily, I bought it on sale, because I don’t feel I would have bought it at full price. I won this through a competition Lyko had with COSRX. I had it in my cart for a long time but couldn't decide whether to try it or not, so super fun that I won the competition so I got to test it! The mask is initially very thick in the packaging, easy to unfold. It's not heavy and slippery with serum like many other masks, but fits perfectly on the face! Once on the skin, it felt fantastic! As mentioned, it's not slippery with serum, so it stays where it should during the entire treatment. It had a cooling effect, so it actually felt really good to have on, even though it was for such a long time. After almost two hours, the mask was completely transparent, and it was time to take it off. And WOW, what a result! I really felt that "glass skin" effect. My skin looked so smooth and hydrated! I've never experienced such a result with face masks before! I will definitely buy this again!
