    It did nothing and the oil ruined it.

    The setting spray does absolutely nothing to hold the makeup. I used it for a few weeks anyway because I had nothing else, but one day there was suddenly just oil in the bottle and I sprayed pure oil all over my makeup and hair (I had shaken the bottle so that wasn't the problem). I do not recommend it at all, girls😔.

    Makes skin sticky

    Makes skin sticky and oily all day. Never dries completely. Doesn't keep makeup in place either. The spray from the tube works poorly too.

    FA-VO-RIT

    Already at the first spray, I was positively surprised. This is the finest and mistiest mist I have ever seen. While other products can feel like they’re spitting in your face*host*MAC Fix*host*, this one feels like a soft little cloud that sweeps over your face. It feels like I’ve tested at least a dozen setting sprays in my days, but it doesn’t feel entirely fair to compare it to the memory of something I used back in 2018. In the last year, I’ve sprayed my way through Urban Decay, LH Cosmetics, MAC, and the green one from e.l.f., and I have to say that e.l.f. Power Grip Dewy Setting Spray suits me best of all. I am very dry, with a tendency to get oily by lunchtime, and I find that this spray gives me the moisture I need to not look like a dusty old almond cake, while still keeping the shine away during the day. My guru Robert Welsh always preaches that it’s the body’s own oils that dissolve makeup, the "problem" comes from within and not from outside. That’s why he uses setting spray as a primer, and that’s what I’ve primarily used this one for. Maybe that’s why I don’t feel it’s too dewy, as I’ve seen several others point out. When I use a slightly matte base product, especially powder blush, I sometimes finish with a few light sprays over the whole thing, but that’s only in exceptional cases. The only thing I have to note is that the light mist makes it hard to determine if I’m even hitting my face when I spray, but I solve that by spraying one half of my face at a time, and using the other eye to make sure I’m aiming right. So, are you sitting with this darling at home and feeling that it gives your face a feeling of a newly polished bowling ball - try putting it under your makeup instead 🌬
