Beautiful, but difficult for light skin
Shade 0 might be too dark for really light skin. I have, for example, foundation in Fenty 100, so I'm currently the lightest. I bought shade 0, and it will be used, but mainly because the coverage is quite weak. The glow is however AMAZING. No makeup makeup at its best! Elf halo glow disappointment
I clicked home an elf halo glow in the shade “fair” because it looked light and not yellow or orange like many foundation-like products can turn out to be. In your pictures, it looked like a perfect color, but when I received it, I was met with this disappointment: a mustard yellow color and also much darker than what you showed it as, not at all resembling either the description or the color. Such a beautiful glow!!
I really like e.l.f. Halo Glow! It gives a really beautiful glow that absolutely doesn’t look glittery or too much, but more like a natural radiance that seems to come from within the skin. However, it’s not fully covering, so if you want a more full-coverage base, I would recommend using it under a foundation to get a nice glow through the base. If you want a lighter look, it works great to use it alone for a bit of color, radiance, and glow. I usually use it a bit like a bronzer because my shade is somewhat darker than my own skin tone. I apply it to the areas where I would normally put bronzer to warm up the face and at the same time get a nice glow, and then I just use a little concealer. Flattering for fair skin
The product itself has great potential, but I am disappointed with the color range. I have very fair skin with a neutral/cool undertone, and when I first bought the product, 0.5 Fair was the lightest shade – a light-medium tone with a yellow undertone, which did not suit me at all! When they then released the shade 00 Fair Neutral, I hurried to order it and was unfortunately disappointed. Instead of the golden shimmer that makes the product so beautiful, the shade 00 Fair Neutral contains a purple glitter that is clearly visible on the skin. Not flattering at all! Didn't like them before, but over the right skincare, it is MAGICAL. You get the sickest glow, and together with Lumene or Caia's serum foundation, you have full face coverage without it feeling heavy on the skin. It's also perfect alone over your skincare if you just want to look glowing and fresh. e.l.f. Halo Glow Liquid Filter 2 Fair/Light
Gives a really nice glow. However, I find the colors can be tricky to work with. I think this shade has a somewhat pink undertone. I don’t want to feel orange but not red either. Since I myself have slight redness. Tips?? I have had to mix it with concealer to make it more of a cool tone.1 product in post e.l.f.
