    Beautiful, but difficult for light skin

    Shade 0 might be too dark for really light skin. I have, for example, foundation in Fenty 100, so I'm currently the lightest. I bought shade 0, and it will be used, but mainly because the coverage is quite weak. The glow is however AMAZING. No makeup makeup at its best! If only they would make something similar for chalk ship captains too...

      Hey Cassie, thank you for taking the time to review! It's so typical if you experience that you're getting pimples from the product! It could be that you're reacting to pigments, preservatives, or light-reflecting particles in the product. Even though these ingredients are safe for most, sensitive skin can react with irritation or small rashes. You might try pausing the use of the product for a few days to see if the pimples and bumps decrease ❤️ If you're using other products (like a rich day cream or a heavy foundation) under or over Elf Halo Glow, the combination can create an unwanted barrier that contributes to clogged pores Try using Elf Halo Glow on clean skin or with a light, oil-free moisturizer to reduce the risk of clogging 🥰

    Pretty but the skin reacts

    ELF halo glow does absolutely its job! The skin becomes so pretty and glowy without being glittery, which I love, and it looks so nice under foundation. However, I unfortunately have to say that my skin has reacted poorly. I've gotten many small pimples and my skin has become drier. But my skin type is also dry and sensitive, so if you have 'perfect' skin, it could absolutely work! #lykoreview

    I took two colors for dark so I could use them as bronzer and I thought it worked super well!!! Blended out super easily and didn't get patchy or cakey.

    Choosing a color...

    Today my daughter came home and said that this is the only Christmas gift she wants.. I wish I had known that before I bought everything 😅 But how on earth am I supposed to know which shade suits her? Are the color shades the same as some other brands so I might compare with something we have at home? I've never tried products from ELF before..
