I you are on the look for a retinoid to use every day, this is the one. No irritation, I can even use it on my neck. I am used to more potent formulas (like the Retinal from The Ordinary) but was on the look for something I could actually use every day, and have noticed more improvement than if I was using a stronger formula 3 times a week. (If you are not used to retinoids, please start slowly as indicated in the product! I have been using retinoids for years, and every time I try a new formula, I do start slowly too!). Highly recommended!

I have tried many budget friendly vit c serums and honestly, this is the best one so far. I believe some of the low ratings are due to user error and not understanding the product, and how potent it is. For more sensitive skin, I suggest trying to do the "sandwich method" like for retinoids (moisturiser/serum/moisturiser). It helps a lot, I did at the beginning before my skin got used to it.

It stings a bit after application as expected and does exactly what it claims. The texture on the forehead and around the T-zone disappeared quite quickly after a week with this. I struggle with different types of acne and combination skin.
