A nice ascorbic acid serum
Ascorbic acid is known to be unstable, so it's important to use the product within a few months. You can store it in the fridge.8704 views - Most helpful negativeThe user's roll: Lyko Creator. The post was made 2 weeksRating: 1 out of 5
Stinks of something terrible
Got this serum in a Lyko Lovables, but unfortunately it smells so disgusting that I can't use it, so it has to go in the trash. Some C vitamin serums tend to stink unfortunately, and this was one of them. #lykoreview #lykocreator427 views - The post was made 1 weekRating: 5 out of 5verified customer
Great Vitamin C serum
I've tried many vitamin C serums some at a much higher price point than this but this is my new favorite. It goes on almost like water and dries down quickly with no pilling when I apply my makeup. Within a week I noticed an overall brightening in my complexion but didn't experience any irritation. I've had it for about 4 months and there is no sign of oxidation however I keep it in the refrigerator.242 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. The post was made 2 weeks
Shelf life?
It says on the product page that C-Glow has a relatively short shelf life of 8 months. On the product itself, it says 3 months, what applies? 😊💕 Lyko Kundservice252 views- The user's roll: Farmaceut på Lyko. The comment was made 2 weeksI absolutely understand, and thank you for your feedback regarding this - I will also pass it on to the manufacturer so they can be informed. We definitely want it to be as clear as possible for our customers when purchasing🤍😊 Thank you, and I wish you the same🥰

Affordable
An affordable potent product that suited me and my sensitive skin. However, I have a hard time with the smell that I think lingers for way too long.498 views - The post was made 1 monthRating: 5 out of 5
I am pleasantly surprised!
I found this product in the Lyko Lovables makeup bag. I have very sensitive, delicate skin, and generally my skin doesn't like vitamin C - it's too irritating for me. So far, I've only liked the Tatcha illuminating serum, but it's very expensive and dedicated to sensitive skin. As for the C-Glow Serum, it has a watery consistency and is very pleasant to apply. I haven't noticed any irritation on my skin, but I also don't use it every day, rather once a week, max 2 times a week, in the morning. I must admit that I use it with pleasure, I'm actually surprised myself! If you have sensitive skin, I encourage you to try this serum :)775 views - The post was made 1 monthRating: 4 out of 5verified customer
God!
So far I really like this a lot! I use it 2-3 times a week and haven't had any reactions. I also like the light, watery consistency – nice for me as I can easily get closed comedones.1063 views - The post was made 1 month
Sensitive Skin
Fubkqr for red-eyed skin?625 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 1 monthHey StyleStory! 👋🏽 This can work if you have sensitive skin. If you have redness-prone or sensitive skin, it might be wise to start cautiously. Use a small amount, preferably every other or every third day, so that your skin has time to adjust and build tolerance. To make the serum milder, you can apply it between two moisturizing steps, or mix a drop with a soothing serum. Feel free to combine it with a barrier-strengthening cream like CeraVe PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion to reduce the risk of irritation. 🥰 Avoid using C-Glow on irritated or damaged skin, or together with strong active ingredients until your skin is balanced. If you experience stinging or persistent redness, you should pause usage and focus on moisturizing. We recommend doing a patch test 24 hours before use, to see how your skin reacts to a new product. Good luck 💃🏽2 likes

Honestly, best vit c serum, budget friendly.
I have tried many budget friendly vit c serums and honestly, this is the best one so far. I believe some of the low ratings are due to user error and not understanding the product, and how potent it is. For more sensitive skin, I suggest trying to do the "sandwich method" like for retinoids (moisturiser/serum/moisturiser). It helps a lot, I did at the beginning before my skin got used to it.1031 views - The post was made 3 months
Combining with Retinal
Hey, my skin is used to both vit c and retinal, but I was wondering if I can use this serum at night before going in with A game from the same brand. I couldn't find any information that there's a conflict on the formulations, like for example with The Ordinary products. Thank you!1861 views- The user's roll: Farmaceut på Lyko. The comment was made 3 monthsHi Ana😊 Thank you for your question✨ Even though your skin is used to both Vitamin C and retinal, it’s generally not recommended to use C-Glow and A-Game in the same night routine, as layering these strong actives can increase the risk of irritation and damage. The safest option is to use C-Glow in the morning and A-Game at night, or alternate them on different evenings. This way you get the benefits of both without stressing the skin barrier. Also always remember sunscreen during the day. Hope this helps and wishing you a great day!💫2 likes

No thanks
Bad smell and not for sensitive skin :/1931 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 3 monthsHi K.K, Thank you for your review 💕 The natural scent of vitamin C is not very pleasant in my opinion, and since this product doesn't have any fragrances to mask it, it can be particularly noticeable. Fortunately, the scent often dissipates from the skin quickly after application! 🍊 Let me know if you want recommendations for products that would be better suited for your sensitive skin. PS. Vitamin C may also require a bit of acclimation from the skin, so you can start by using it less frequently and gradually increase usage as your skin gets used to it. To avoid potential allergies and sensitivities, we always recommend testing a new product on a small area of skin (like the hand) and waiting 24 hours to see if the product causes any reactions. Have a lovely day! ✨😍2 likes

Geek & GorgeousC-Glow Serum 30 ml
A super-light, water-like 15% Vitamin C + extra antioxidants (Ferulic Acid & a smaller amount of Vitamin E) formula to give the skin environmental protection, boost collagen & even the skin tone. Skin type: all skin types - please do a patch test if you have sensitive skin
Skin concern: dark spots, aging, dull & uneven skin Pure Vitamin C (or Ascorbic Acid) is a 3-in-1, clinically proven superstar that gives the skin environmental protection (antioxidant), boosts the skin's own collagen production and fades hyperpigmentation. This water-light formula contains 15% Vitamin C & extra antioxidants to give a healthy glow, even and firm the skin. The disadvantage of pure Vitamin C is that it is super unstable, and hard to formulate with. This formula uses a low pH and extra antioxidants to help to stabilize Vitamin C, but even like this, C-Glow comes with a relatively short, 8 months shelf-life. key ingredients:
Vitamin C (ascorbic acid – 15%) – A clinically proven active that gives the skin environmental protection (antioxidant), boosts collagen production and fades hyperpigmentation. Also gives an instant glow to the skin.
Ferulic acid + Vitamin E – Antioxidants that help to stabilize Vitamin C and increase its antioxidant power. The formula contains a high amount of Ferulic Acid, and a smaller amount of vitamin E.
Dimethyl Isosorbide – A new-generation solvent that aids the proper penetration of Vitamin C + solubilizes the high amount of Ferulic Acid into the formula.
Use:
Apply a few drops to the face after cleansing, before using other serums and/or creams. Ideal to use in the AM but can be applied PM as well. As the C-Glow formula has a water-like texture, it is recommended that you put a drop directly onto your face and quickly pat it on with your other hand.
