Strange hybrid
"Happier Barrier" is supposed to strengthen the skin barrier with ceramides, squalane and squalene, allantoin, bisabolol, and green tea, etc., and is recommended for dry, normal, and combination skin. I am 54 years old and have very dry, very thin so-called porcelain skin that can be a bit sensitive, so I am not the ideal candidate! I have a hard time with regular perfume in creams but tolerate essential oils well (even though I haven't always appreciated the scent😁). This was a pretty strange cream, like a slippery, slightly slimy mix between gel and cream🤔. Not my favorite consistency, but my skin tolerated it well, and that is - maybe? - the most important😉. The color is unfortunately quite similar to snot🤢😅, so I tried not to look at it too much! (It is NOT peach-colored as it says in the description). The color comes from the natural ingredients, so it's nothing weird👍, but still. Normally, I use nourishing creams, and during the cold seasons, I supplement with oil almost every day. I had this late last fall when it was still quite warm and absolutely no minus degrees. I had to supplement with oil or nourishing balm anyway, so light is it! ➕Completely fragrance-free. ➕Simple packaging that you can easily cut open at the end. ➕Good price. ➕Cruelty-free. I can imagine having it again, but then in the summer. Probably best suited for someone with one of the other skin types, i.e., normal, combination, or dry, i.e., slightly dry! 🌟🌟🌟🌟 #lykoreview - The post was made 1 weekRating: 3 out of 5
Clogs pores
This cream has a bit of a strange texture as it is greasy but not buttery. It probably works well for someone who needs moisture but doesn't want to be too shiny. Unfortunately, it clogged my pores, but I discovered it works really well as a hand cream on my flaky hands without leaving too sticky a residue.53 views - The post was made 1 week
