    GHD, gold, not good

    I am really disappointed. I bought this flat iron over two years ago and it has already stopped working, just after the warranty expired. My old, cheap model lasted almost six years. I thought a more expensive brand would last longer, but unfortunately not.

    Hey! Is this ideal for straightening if you're specifically looking for that purpose? And to what temperature does it heat up/is 185 the highest temperature here when nothing else is mentioned?

      Hey Nadja, This is really a great choice for both straightening and curling! ✨ The iron doesn’t have a separate temperature control, but it heats up automatically to 185 degrees – which is the optimal temperature. It’s powerful enough for styling, but not too hot for the hair. (Remember to use heat protection! 💛) I’ve heard that if you style hair at a higher temperature, its natural moisture evaporates too much. This way, the hair may absorb moisture from the environment faster, which can affect the hairstyle's longevity and of course damage the hair more! This iron has amazing reviews, and I can warmly recommend it! 🔥 Feel free to ask if there’s anything else you’re wondering about! 😊

      Just experienced the same. Mine has lasted under 2 years 😖 Incredibly boring, I've heard so much good about GHD, but this seems to be a common problem 😖😩
