I love this foundation and totally understand why it’s a favorite for many! It’s so light on the skin and applies beautifully, and I also think it gives a nice glowy finish which I adore, + it lasts all day without getting patchy! ✨ A true luxury foundation for the perfect glowing base ✨
Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation in shade 6.5 is truly one of those foundations that gives me that feeling that my skin just looks a little extra beautiful. 🤍 I love a base that is glowing and fresh but still looks natural, and that’s exactly what I think is so lovely about Luminous Silk. The first thing I noticed was the finish. The skin gets a soft and almost slightly silky impression, which really fits the name. ✨ I like it when a foundation doesn’t just sit on top of the skin as a layer but actually melts in so that the overall look appears more natural. This one gives me exactly that feeling. The coverage can also be adjusted depending on what I want that day. I like to start with a fairly thin layer and then build up where I want to even out a bit more. That way, I can use it for a simple everyday makeup but also get a more polished base when I’m going somewhere special. 🥰 Shade 6.5 also feels very nice for me when I want a base that blends with the rest of the makeup. I think it’s so important that the foundation doesn’t feel like a separate color on the face but just helps create an even overall look. What I really appreciate is how luxurious the skin feels after application. 💕 I think the foundation works especially well with cream blush, bronzer, and a bit of highlighter when I want to create a really glowing look. But even with just a little concealer and mascara, the result is very nice. I also find it feels light and comfortable to wear. It’s the kind of foundation I like to use when I know I’ll be wearing makeup for several hours and want to feel comfortable while the base still looks well done. And the bottle itself is really incredibly beautiful. Giorgio Armani manages to make the product feel luxurious even before you’ve applied it. ✨ It’s definitely the kind of foundation I like to have out on my makeup table. I have used Sensai luminous sheer foundation, which has been discontinued, in shade 204.5. I love this one and have been using 4.5 now in the summer, but it is a little too dark for me, and maybe a bit too yellow. It falls between the shades in depth but has a more neutral/golden undertone, which can help tone down the pink in the skin.
