Perfect tan color for very fair skin 👏🏻
New favorite in my self-tanning routine! 🩷 The color turned out perfect for my chalk-white skin, and it didn't turn orange or patchy. The smell was really nice - even though the self-tanner smell comes through a bit when it's dried. Itching
Heii. I have used Sofie Elise's self-tanner for many many years. Very very satisfied, always a nice result and nice colors. But after the new version came out, it seems like my skin reacts a lot. I itch extremely especially on my legs. And I don't want to find a new self-tanner since I am actually very satisfied with this one. Any tips? This is to rule out allergy before you possibly use the product again. Here are some tips from me to you: 👉 Shaved skin areas should have at least 24 hours of rest and plenty of moisturizing care before self-tanning, to avoid irritation and patchy application. 👉 Always perform a patch test on a small area when using new or "updated" products, to ensure good tolerance before applying the product on larger areas/the whole body. Worst self-tanner I have ever tried
Even though I shave, exfoliate, and moisturize before application, it goes on extremely patchy. After a couple of days, it also becomes ugly and uneven. Perfect for light skin
I have a new favorite 🌟 This is perfect for me with light skin. It's easy to apply and actually smells good. I leave it on all day, but only 2 hours on my hands, and the result is even, nice, and without streaks. The color lasts for 5-6 days, and to keep the color longer, I usually apply Dove Summer revived gradual tanning lotion in medium to dark after about 3 days. I use her own glove for a perfect result! Without a doubt the best self-tanner on the market!
I have tested most self-tanners, and I always go back to Glöd. And this one? Is definitely the best of all I have tried. I am as white as a sheet, but with this I get an even, absolutely gorgeous dark color; that lasts for 5-6 days and fades so much nicer than all the others I have tested. But remember: everything depends on whether you are good at taking care of your skin, like regularly exfoliating and using moisturizer. The result always gets better the more you prepare in advance. Have used a good amount of self-tanner over the years. Wasn't impressed. I like the color of this self-tanner, but it's difficult to apply evenly and gets spotty quickly if you're not super careful with the application. Glöd Color Perfection Self Tan Mousse gives you the perfect tan for your specific undertone. Violet Base neutralizes yellow/golden undertones for a rich brown color. Let it develop for 1 hour for an express tan, or longer for a deeper color. The Colour Perfection range is packed with skincare ingredients that combat signs of aging and leave your skin hydrated and nourished:
- HYALURONIC ACID - Works by drawing moisture into the skin to help maintain hydration levels and create smooth, plump skin
- VITAMINS B3, B5, C, E - Super antioxidants that enhance and help protect the skin from harmful UV radiation, which can accelerate skin aging
- CERAMIDE COMPLEX - Rebuilds and restores the skin’s protective barrier to retain moisture.
Which undertone suits YOU – Emerald or Violet?
Emerald Base – Perfect for those with lighter features in hair, skin, and eyes. If your skin has a natural pink undertone and you burn easily, the Emerald base will neutralize pink/red tones and give you a beautiful olive-brown glow.
Violet Base – Ideal for those with slightly darker features in hair, skin, and eyes. If you have a warmer, golden skin tone and tan easily, the Violet base will enhance your natural color and give you a deep, sun-kissed tan.
Use:
Shake the bottle well before use. Preparation is key! Ensure the skin is clean and that hair removal and exfoliation are done 24 hours prior to application. Apply a small amount of moisturizer to dry areas such as elbows, hands, knees, and knuckles before application for an even result. Application: Apply 2-3 pumps to the Glöd Sophie Elise Self Tan Mitt for an even finish. Massage the product into the skin using circular motions or long strokes, starting from the bottom of the body and working upwards. Let it develop for 1 hour before showering/bathing for an express tan, or longer for a deeper color. The color will fade evenly over the next 5-7 days. Suitable for all skin types.
