Extremely moisturizing but thick!! 🩷
I've been using this hair mask for a while, as stated in the description, it's recommended for dry, low porosity, and coarse hair (2a-4c). I naturally have 2a/2b but fine/medium thick hair. But I felt that this was still too "thick" for my hair. It was very moisturizing and nourishing. However, it felt like it weighed my hair down a bit! Works great to use as a conditioner. Another downside is that I'm not really fond of the scent. If you have hair that can handle heavy products or with coarser texture, then this is gold! amika Hydro Rush Intense Moisture Hair Mask is truly one of those hair masks I like to use when my hair feels dry and needs a little extra love. I think there’s something special about applying a hair mask and really letting your hair take a little break from all the styling chaos. 🤍 The texture is wonderfully creamy and feels very easy to distribute through the lengths. I like when a mask feels properly nourishing without the hair feeling heavy or greasy afterward. What I notice the most is how soft and smooth my hair feels afterward. It becomes easier to detangle and gets a nice, hydrated feeling. ✨ I especially like it when the lengths feel a bit dry or tangled. The scent is also wonderful! 🌸 It really gives that luxurious salon feeling that makes a regular hair wash feel much more like self-care. I usually use it as a bit more pampering step when I have time. Shampoo, apply the mask, let it work, and then rinse out. It’s so simple, but the hair really feels extra lovely afterward. 🥰 I also like that it’s perfect to combine with other products in the Hydro Rush series. Bought this treatment after all the great reviews and also saw that many mentioned the fantastic scent. My product had a faint coconut scent, but the dominant smell was "the container." I have curly hair, but I prefer to straighten it. It gets dry here and there, and this mask is perfect. My hair becomes very soft and easy to comb through, and the product is very thick so you don't need to use much.
