Headon Dry Shampoo
I received this product for testing against my honest opinion. I have typical Nordic hair - thin and straight and a sensitive scalp that easily gets oily. I haven't used dry shampoo in many years, as I always feel that they leave a white/gray residue in my hair and irritate my scalp. I prefer to wash my hair more often, quite simply. I was very excited to test this dry shampoo to see if it stood out from the others I have tested. The bottle has a simple and nice design, and the spray function works well. It distributes an even spray in the hair. I tested this on hair that hadn't been washed for a couple of days. The first impression was that it has a quite strong, masculine scent, and unfortunately, it didn't fade throughout the day. I have nothing against scent in hair products as long as I like the scent and don't feel that it competes with my perfume. But this unfortunately brings it down significantly. Aside from the scent, I unfortunately experienced the same problem with this as with other dry shampoos - that it leaves a visible white dust in my dark hair. I tried to massage it in, use a hairdryer, but the result was unfortunately the same. I also didn't feel that my hair felt clean. There was also a lot of white dust on my black bathroom sink. I am really impressed with this product! It dries quickly and makes hair easy to style without feeling stiff or heavy. I especially like that it protects against heat, as I use a lot of straighteners. The hairstyle stays nice all day, even when it's humid outside, and the hair gets a nice shine. Although I'm not a super fan of the shampoo, this one is super! Freshen up!
A good dry shampoo is really a lifesaver sometimes. But I have a bit of a hard time with the stiff feeling it leaves in the hair. This product doesn't give too stiff hair, which is nice. It feels a bit milder even though it provides hold. It has a good packaging and sprays evenly. Unfortunately, I find that the product is visible even on my hair, which isn't that dark. It can leave white patches that can be a bit hard to completely remove. Even when I brush through my hair. But as long as you are a bit careful with spraying, I think it works fine. It really absorbs oils and makes the hair last another day. Nothing for my hair, unfortunately!
I have tested this product with #lykoinflutester #headon and here are my thoughts! The first impression was that it is so fun to try Swedish brands! My friend was visiting and saw the products, she said that it was her hair salon in Malmö that made the products and she loves them! So I got extra excited to try 🥰 I find dry shampoos difficult. Really hit or miss for me, and unfortunately, this was a miss. It smells really good! But I can't stand the feeling when it feels rough and you can feel the product in your hair, which I unfortunately felt with this. Good dry shampoo
I got to test this dry shampoo from Headon, the brand seems exciting with a focus on unisex hair products! I have colored hair with an oily scalp, so a dry shampoo is pure gold for a hectic everyday life💕 The first impression is that this smells neutral and good, no strong perfume scent that I think many dry shampoos have. A little about me: fine and frizzy, shoulder-length hair that needs a lot of TLC Awesome, high-quality dry shampoo that feels luxurious and smells great! Smells fresh but not too much like salon products can sometimes do. Got greasy again in one go?
As #lykoinflutester I got to try four products from #headon, namely Volume spray, Dry shampoo, Dry shaping heat protection, and Care Leave-in conditioner. Unfortunately, I have to say that a common thread across all these products is that I really can't handle the scents. Strong and notes that were not at all my thing! (See the notes below). Really disappointing since they are perfumer Linda Landenberg who created this scent, Verdant. However, she is an incredible inspiration for me when it comes to my interest in perfume. The scent Verdant contains: Top notes: Freshly cut grass, Petitgrain, Coriander Heart notes: Fig leaf, Peach, White flowers, Palmarosa Base notes: Virginian cedar, Siberian pine Also this one with a strong scent that unfortunately lasts all day. Really good mist like their Dry Heat protection since they have a good pressure which is a must for me when it comes to dry shampoo. But I find that it gets too dusty in the hair. They look almost matte and dry instead of a refresh. Then just after maybe 5 minutes if you brush through again, it’s like you look greasy again (as you can see in the other video where my hair is greasy again). So this one didn’t work for me at all.
