Popular for a reason!
I bought this mascara a while ago and now over Christmas I started using it. I had heard so much good, so it was fun to finally try it myself too. I absolutely understand why it is so popular because it is really good! 😍 Not too sticky but also not dry and crumbly, so just right. Nice packaging and good brush, or I like a bit smaller brushes so this was to my taste👍🏻 Gives good black color but I am also curious to try this mascara in brown, I think it would be suitable for everyday use. I think the lashes become long and separated, I usually like not to have too much mascara on my lashes, but it surely works well to build up with several layers if you want a more intense look. My only little problem was that when we were away on a trip over Christmas and I had used this mascara, it was a bit trickier than normal to remove the mascara. There was minimal warm water coming out of the tap in our hotel room, and you need 38+ for this to dissolve😅 So it took a while to get it off then, but otherwise here at home when I use it, it is very easy to remove it with warm water💦 (so as long as you have warm water, it works just fine😜) #lykoreview

I've always used regular waterproof mascaras before, but there's always mascara on my eyelids after half a day and it's hard to remove in the evening despite remover for waterproof mascara. This one stays where it should and looks just as good after a whole day as when I first applied it. Now that I've learned how to use it, I love it. At first, I thought it was quite difficult to work with. I have it in brown, and the lashes look so natural. The best mascara of my life, has really saved me. I've tried a bunch of different mascaras, both regular and waterproof. But all of them have left me with black eyelids after half a day. Almost perfect!
I have been using Idun Vatn for a long time and have had issues with it drying too quickly and not being particularly easy to work with, this variant is so much better! It is easy to work with, holds really well, and gives nice volume and length to the lashes. The absolute best part is that you never get black under your eyes from it, no matter what the weather is, and that it is super easy to wash off, you just need a little lukewarm water on the lashes and you can kind of just pull the mascara off without even needing any kind of cleanser. It would have gotten 5 stars if it weren't for two downsides: It doesn't hold on the lower lashes for me, the mascara falls off there, but it's easy to just brush away, luckily. Make sure your lashes are clean before application, and use a gentle makeup remover that doesn't leave an oily film. You can also try applying an eye primer or concealer under your eyes to create a barrier that prevents the mascara from mixing with natural oils from your skin. You can also try using a translucent or mattifying powder to keep the area dry and reduce the risk of smudging.1 likes

^ In the picture, you can see a bit of darkness in the corner of my eye, and it's not my eyeliner that has smudged ^ also note that I had my makeup on for about 12 hours when the picture was taken, and that's why I look schleeeeten since the concealer has disappeared, etc.💤^ First impression was WOW! The curl on my straight lashes didn't hold super well, but still okay. Long beautiful lashes, but unfortunately, I got dark under my eyes in the afternoon. ( TIPS WELCOME ON HOW I CAN AVOID THE PANDA LOOK👐). I'm thinking of making a + and - list to structure things a bit. + 💙long beautiful lashes 💙INCREDIBLE brush that works magic with one swipe 💙easy to remove with warm water 💛nourishing - 🛤gets dark under the eyes after 8 hours at work 🛤the curl isn't quite 100% good for me with straight lashes. So, unfortunately, the rating goes down despite the formula being DIVINE 😭. I love everything except my dark circles that are highlighted in extreme amounts in the afternoon haha. Tips are welcome because I really want this to work, it would be amazing. I've never experienced a mascara that smudges this much before, so it feels a bit sad.

Use:
