Popular for a reason!
I bought this mascara a while ago and now over Christmas I started using it. I had heard so much good, so it was fun to finally try it myself too. I absolutely understand why it is so popular because it is really good! 😍 Not too sticky but also not dry and crumbly, so just right. Nice packaging and good brush, or I like a bit smaller brushes so this was to my taste👍🏻 Gives good black color but I am also curious to try this mascara in brown, I think it would be suitable for everyday use. I think the lashes become long and separated, I usually like not to have too much mascara on my lashes, but it surely works well to build up with several layers if you want a more intense look. My only little problem was that when we were away on a trip over Christmas and I had used this mascara, it was a bit trickier than normal to remove the mascara. There was minimal warm water coming out of the tap in our hotel room, and you need 38+ for this to dissolve😅 So it took a while to get it off then, but otherwise here at home when I use it, it is very easy to remove it with warm water💦 (so as long as you have warm water, it works just fine😜) #lykoreview1 product in post Popular for a reason! - Most helpful negativeThe post was made 7 monthsRating: 1 out of 5verified customer
Very dissatisfied :(
I had high hopes that the mascara would keep my lashes curled and pretty, but they fell down immediately… The mascara is also hard to work with as it clumps and flakes a lot. A bit tricky to handle at first
Tricky to handle the first few times as it feels looser than other brands, but nice once I got the right technique. Lasts all day despite heat and cycling or walking 15 km in the heat. The world's best mascara. Period.
I used to always switch mascaras; it was a new kind with every purchase because I could never find a mascara that did everything I wanted. Either the formula was too crumbly or too wet. It was too stiff or ended up on my cheeks and eyelids after half a day. The hunt for the Perfect Mascara TM was total. BUT. After trying this one, I have never bought another kind again. The hunt is over. This is, in my opinion, THE PERFECT MASCARA. It separates, gives incredible length and FLUFFY volume, and stays put like a rock all day. The best part? Love it
Loyal user of Max Factor's Telescopic since middle school, switched to this one at the beginning of the year. Love that it’s so easy to remove, and I probably will never switch back to regular mascara because of that. Falls off
I have had the blue Idun Minerals 38 before and love it. It stays on all day, otherwise I have problems with mascara not staying put. You get nice lashes with one coat. If you apply more, the lashes clump. AND it both flakes under the eyes and smudges on the lids during the day. Will use it up but won’t buy again. Unfortunately, this doesn't get a very high rating from me. I don't think it separates the lashes very well; the lashes get weighed down after just a few minutes. It also flakes a lot in my opinion. There's not a big difference between the black mascara and the brown one either. But it's very easy to wash off, with just water. Use:
Apply the mascara at the base of the lashes first in a wiggle motion, and then apply it towards the tips of the lashes. Remove using warm water (around 38°C) that will gently detach the formula from the lashes – no need to use a makeup remover.
