    I can't help but LOVE Idun Minerals mascaras 😍 the original Vatn in the color black has long been a must in the makeup bag - now the brown variant is also that 🤎 I posted a picture with and without mascara to show the difference - it's fantastic! Doesn't flake, doesn't smudge, and lasts for several days 😅 Yes, I admit...I'm TERRIBLE at washing off my makeup some days....but this is so gentle on my lashes that it doesn't matter much.

    Perfect for sensitive eyes

      Hey M, thank you for taking the time to review! It's so typical if you find that it crumbles after a while. Residues of old mascara or makeup remover can affect how well the mascara adheres and stays in place. Make sure your lashes are clean before application, and use a gentle makeup remover that doesn't leave an oily film. You can also try applying an eye primer or concealer under your eyes to create a barrier that prevents the mascara from mixing with natural oils from your skin. You can also try using a translucent or mattifying powder to keep the area dry and reduce the risk of smudging.

    ^ In the picture, you can see a bit of darkness in the corner of my eye, and it's not my eyeliner that has smudged ^ also note that I had my makeup on for about 12 hours when the picture was taken, and that's why I look schleeeeten since the concealer has disappeared, etc.💤^ First impression was WOW! The curl on my straight lashes didn't hold super well, but still okay. Long beautiful lashes, but unfortunately, I got dark under my eyes in the afternoon. ( TIPS WELCOME ON HOW I CAN AVOID THE PANDA LOOK👐). I'm thinking of making a + and - list to structure things a bit. + 💙long beautiful lashes 💙INCREDIBLE brush that works magic with one swipe 💙easy to remove with warm water 💛nourishing - 🛤gets dark under the eyes after 8 hours at work 🛤the curl isn't quite 100% good for me with straight lashes. So, unfortunately, the rating goes down despite the formula being DIVINE 😭. I love everything except my dark circles that are highlighted in extreme amounts in the afternoon haha. Tips are welcome because I really want this to work, it would be amazing. I've never experienced a mascara that smudges this much before, so it feels a bit sad.

    Simple and nice

    Effective application with this and it gives an intense color. Easy to wash off and doesn't flake. The only downside is that it doesn't separate the lashes well enough, they easily clump together.

    Good formula, but...

    I've been using this for two weeks now and have really tested it in both tough weather and crying haha! The product stays on and comes off easily with warm water, LOVE IT! But I'm not happy with the applicator and think the lashes can quickly get a clumpy look if you're not careful. I've even ended up wiping the brush with paper before applying it to my lashes. I know there's one that isn't called volume, so that one might be better...

    Sustainability

    Is this as sustainable as, like, Maybelline Sky High Waterproof? I have short, straight lashes and this is the only one that has managed to hold the curl all day for me, but I'm tempted to try this! However, I'm unsure because of the 38° water, so I'm just wondering if that makes it a little "weaker"?

      Hey E I would say that if your lashes are hard to keep curled, Sky High's waterproof might be a bit more reliable. Because Idun can handle moisture but doesn't have the same extreme waterproof effect as Sky High, which is particularly good for holding curls Good luck and all the best

    First 38° mascara I've bought. Love love love❤️ This holds until you wash it off with water that's over 38 degrees. Doesn't flake a single bit. I usually don't buy brown mascara. But it's just sooooo pretty🤩 I highly recommend this.

The creamy vegan formula provides a long-wearing result that lasts all day and can be easily removed with warm water. Features a soft rubber brush for precise application. Enriched with shea butter and castor oil to nourish and care for the lashes. 100% vegan and ophthalmologically tested. The bottle is made of 100% recycled materials.

Use:
Apply the mascara at the base of the lashes first in a wiggle motion, and then apply it towards the tips of the lashes. Remove using warm water (around 38°C) that will gently detach the formula from the lashes – no need to use a makeup remover.
