Melts makeup – doesn’t lock it in
Lovely glow, but not a super fixer This setting spray is more of a “finishes the look” type than a true makeup lock-in. It gives the skin a really nice glow and blends the makeup nicely together, making the result look more natural. But if you’re looking for strong hold and longevity, this isn’t the one to choose – it doesn’t really extend makeup wear that much. Plus points for hyaluronic acid, which adds moisture and makes the skin look fresh. Also, the large bottle and good spray nozzle are really big bonuses. The mist comes out evenly and not in clumps. I don't think my makeup has ever been better than before 🥺 Idun Minerals Mascara is fantastic and blue, a fun mascara but also a very nice mascara. An absolutely nice effect 💙 Mac Lipgloss, which I thought would be sticky but it absolutely isn't, and I love those. Easy to apply and very nice 🤍 Lumene Blur, I felt nothing on my face which I absolutely love. Positively surprised
Was tasked with testing this setting spray & here is my opinion: Background: No direct experience with setting sprays. All makeup on my face except mascara disappears at the slightest mishap, so I was very excited to try. Dry skin 😇First impression: The packaging is SO PRETTY, it makes me so happy when I see it. I like the "spray" itself, comes out just the right amount & spreads nicely on the face. The scent is not nice. Doesn't feel sticky after application. Dries quickly 😃My opinion: I am positively surprised & very happy with this product. There is another one that is matte but I’m glad I got to try this one as I liked prepping with it & getting a lot of moisture, setting the makeup & then reapplying during the day to bring the makeup back to life. It even held the makeup after I sweated on the bike 😅 (and my makeup usually does NOT hold up to sweat/water etc., it gives up immediately) ☺️Conclusion: Good setting spray, like prepping with it, setting the makeup & then reapplying & freshening up the face after a few hours. The durability is acceptable (not perfect) but there are definitely better ones on the market. Perfect timing to try this when my All Nighter just ran out. 🤩 Honestly, I think I've never come across a setting spray that makes makeup stay like a rock all day, and I can't give this a fair review on that since I've only tried it once. So my preferences in a setting spray are really hydration, that it makes the makeup sit nicely, and glow, and this ticks all three boxes ✅️ I thought it smelled quite a lot of alcohol when I opened it, we all know alcohol is drying 🙄, but I didn't notice that after using the spray. Really nice glow, makes makeup last!
Really positively surprised by this setting spray, it makes the makeup blend nicely with the skin, gives a super nice glow, and holds really well for a setting spray that's supposed to give glow! Especially recommend it for anyone with dry skin! The only thing I might have wished for is that the spray itself would be a bit softer, more like a mist. I really love Isadora The Glow Setting Spray 100 ml! It gives a beautiful glow to the skin and makes the makeup blend together in a nice and natural way. The skin looks fresh, hydrated, and radiant all day long. It also keeps the makeup in place well without feeling heavy or sticky, which is a big plus. The only thing I don’t really like is the spray itself – my bottle sprays quite hard instead of a fine mist. I don’t know if it’s just mine that’s a bit weird, but it still affects the experience a little. At first, a bit too much product came out, and I was afraid it would leave splatter marks on the makeup. I pressed with a makeup sponge, and luckily it didn’t leave any😌 The spray could be a bit better here, but I noticed it works better if you press the spray quickly. The skin looked really beautiful and had a lovely glow☀️ And the product didn’t feel unpleasant or tight on the skin. It holds the makeup fairly well, but I’ve tried others that give more hold. New setting spray from IsaDora 💗🩵💛 Love the packaging and the summery colors!! This one is supposed to give glow, while the blue-pink one gives a more matte look! It really gave glow, and takes a little while to dry into the skin. It feels a bit sticky until fully dried but I think the makeup held up well with this!! I think the spray was a liiiiittle "harsh" and focused for my taste but it could also be that some product got stuck right in the spray hole. Fun that it comes in both a glowing and matte version!
