I have typical Scandinavian hair – fine, thin, with a bit of natural fall and slightly dry lengths. My hair needs products that nourish and strengthen without weighing it down, and that's exactly why my hairdresser recommended this. This is a shampoo I keep coming back to. It cleanses gently, my hair feels soft and healthy after washing, and I notice it looks less dry. At the same time, I maintain both volume and the natural fall of my hair, which is important to me. I also like that it is sulfate-free and designed to protect hair from daily wear and tear. For me, it provides a nice balance between care and lightness – my hair simply feels well cared for without being heavy. Maybe you have used sulfate-free shampoo before, and sulfate-free shampoos are often milder than shampoos with sulfates. This means they don't remove as much oil from your hair and scalp. If you have oily hair or tend to produce a lot of sebum, a sulfate-free shampoo may leave some oil behind, which can make your hair feel greasy faster. If you recently switched from a traditional shampoo to a sulfate-free one, your scalp may need time to adjust. Sulfates tend to remove more oil, which can lead to the scalp producing more oil as compensation. When you switch to a milder shampoo, it can take a few weeks for the production to balance out. If you otherwise want tips from our hairdressers on something else, if you don't already have a tried-and-true shampoo that might suit you better, they are always ready in the Lyko app and via the hair test ✨💖
