100 ml240 mlGlycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution is an exfoliant targeted at the surface of the skin. It helps improve skin clarity, balance uneven skin tone, and correct texture over time. This formula should not be used on sensitive, peeling or compromised skin. Please refer to additional sun protection note and other warnings in provided directions.
This pH of this formula is approximately 3.6. Glycolic Acid has a pKa of 3.6 and pKa is the most important aspect to consider in formulating with acids. pKa implies acid availability. When pKa is close to pH, there is an ideal balance between salt and acidity, maximizing effectiveness of the acid and reducing irritation.

I literally use this for everything: Scalp scrub once a week; Removes product buildup, hair becomes shinier and less oily. Apply to the entire scalp, let it sit after a light massage for 10-15 minutes, and double cleanse with shampoo. For armpits and groin 2 times a week after showering; Removes bacteria that cause sweat odor. As needed every couple of weeks as a gentle scrub for the face like a toner; Helps especially with oily skin and small breakouts. After shaving (not on the same day, otherwise it stings); Removes and prevents ingrown hairs. Treatment for keratosis pilaris on the forearms; Apply to the skin of the forearms 1-2 times a week after showering, wait 15 minutes, and apply cream or oil on top. Foot scrub; 2-3 times a week after showering, apply to the soles of the feet. Let it sit for 15 minutes and apply foot cream and put on socks.10 likes1002 viewsNoora
2 monthsNice to hear that the review was helpful! I always apply it to my skin through my hands, so I take about a tablespoon of toner in my hand and then just slather it on my forearms. It's good to let it dry and work for a moment before applying oil, and it shouldn't be washed off. As body oil, I use Weleda's rose oil, but any oil or cream works! For the groin area, I do the same, using a slightly smaller amount (teaspoon) on my hands and just applying it to the edge of my underwear. I don't use any other deodorants. This has especially been a convenient way to stay fresh during the summer. Let's really hope this product is never discontinued. 😆

Hi, I'm wondering if I could get some tips on how to adapt this to my skincare routine. And will it help with bumps on my forehead?1527 viewsLine
Skin therapist at Lyko2 weeksHi Julia! I recommend that you send us an email about this and specify which products you have from before, so we can figure out what can be combined and what cannot with this. To get used to the product, it's wise to start gradually - That means not every night at first, but preferably every other or every third night. Have a nice day🤗

is there anything for combination skin? won't it clog pores?1 likes1755 viewsIzabela
Customer service at Lyko2 weeksHey! This toner works great for different skin types, including combination skin 🌿 It doesn't have any ingredients that could clog pores—it contains, among other things, rose water, aloe, and ginseng extract, so just soothing and moisturizing goodness! ✨ I recommend doing a patch test on a small area of skin first, and if in doubt, you can always consult a dermatologist.

Hi, Can this be used together with Cerave retinol?1896 viewsLine
Skin therapist at Lyko2 weeksHi Esra! This should not be used in combination with Retinol. Then you might want to use Glycolid Acid Toner on the evenings you don't use Retinol serum. Have a nice day🤗

It’s strong, so it doesn’t suit everyone on the face, but: To avoid itching, razor burn, and strawberry legs after shaving✅ To keep a healthy, itch-free, and dandruff-free scalp✅ To exfoliate and keep the smell fresh in the armpit✅ And at a reasonable price?! It’s a winner in my bathroom 🏆4 likes2754 viewsMariem

Hey, what is the difference between The Ordinary toning solution and exfoliating?1 likes2885 viewsMaria L.
Customer service at Lyko1 monthHello! Toning Solution: Is milder and can be used as a daily exfoliation that helps maintain skin clarity and balance skin's pH. Exfoliating Products: Intensive exfoliating treatments used weekly to deeply cleanse pores, improve skin texture, and address specific issues Have the best!

Under experiment , “Its size is very good, and it has many uses. It cleans the face in a great way, and I will continue using it. They also say it can be used on elbows and knees, and even as a hair exfoliant. However, I heard some people say it can be used on sensitive areas, but I don’t feel that is correct, so I will research the topic more. Overall, it’s good3 likes4595 views
