What kind of routine can I create with these skincare products?
I have long suffered from various types of skin issues (dryness, acne, acne scars, redness, and large pores) and have tried many different products that haven't felt helpful. I just bought several skincare products that I hope will help, but I'm not sure in what order to use the products or what a good and effective skincare routine would be. Like a time travel, but the bad kind 🥹
I have had acne problems since my teenage years, where it has gone in waves. A little over two years ago, I finally went to a dermatologist and got help. I was on isotretinoin for a little over 7 months and finally got rid of it. Since I stopped the treatment, I have only gotten a few isolated pimples. I use Niactil, which I love, and it has been great. But I thought about alternating with another serum with niacinamide to stretch it a bit. I wanted to try this since it had mostly received very good reviews. I am always cautious with new products and introduce them slowly and one at a time. I know that the skin can react to new products and that there can be “purging.” But I got a lot of new and inflamed pimples, big and painful. When I stopped using it, they disappeared; it might have stopped if I had continued. I love this serum. For some, it can roll off or “curl up” on the skin, but my tip is to take a small amount and dab it into the skin after toner. It does its job best right after you get a pimple.
