The OrdinaryDirect AcidsAHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution 30 ml
10-Minute Exfoliating Facial.
With 30% Alpha Hydroxyl Acids (Glycolic/Lactic/Tartaric/Citric), 2% Beta Hydroxyl Acid (Salicylic Acid), Hyaluronic Acid Crosspolymer, Vitamin B5, Black Carrot and Tasmanian Pepperberry. Alpha hydroxyl acids (AHA) exfoliate the skin's topmost surface for a brighter and more even appearance. Beta hydroxyl acids (BHA) also exfoliate the skin with an extended function to help clear pore congestion. This combined 32% AHA/BHA solution offers deeper exfoliation to help fight visible blemishes and for improved skin radiance. The formula also improves the appearance of skin texture and reduces the look of fine lines with continued use. This formula contains a studied Tasmanian Pepperberry derivative to help reduce irritation associated with acid use. This derivative is of plant origin and varies in colour seasonally and this colour variation may be apparent in the formula from time to time. This formula is further supported with a crosspolymer form of hyaluronic acid for comfort, Vitamin B5 to assist healing and black carrot as an antioxidant. Contraindications: This formula should not be used on sensitive, peeling or compromised skin.
Please refer to additional sun protection note and other warnings in provided Directions.
Note: While exfoliating acids can result in quick visible benefits, we generally suggest indirect forms of skin exfoliation in favour of direct forms such as this formula due to potential inflammation and sensitivity associated with acids. Please refer to NIOD's Non-Acid Acid Precursor for such a reference.
Use:
Use ideally in the PM, no more frequently than twice per week. Clean face and wait for skin to dry. Do not use on wet skin. Apply evenly across face and neck using your fingertips. Leave on for no more than 10 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water. Avoid the eye contour and contact with eyes both during application and rinse off.
This low-viscosity solution is intended to be used as a masque. Do not leave on for longer than 10 minutes. If persistent irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a physician. (Sunburn Alert: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards. Use only as directed. Contact of the product with the skin must be of limited frequency or duration.)

It clears pores very quickly and does a very good job at what it's supposed to + affordable + lasts forever even with consistent use + results show quickly + a little goes a long way - dose not work well for dry, sensitive skin - can leave chemical burns if used incorectly I do recommend this product, but i think it works best with an oil clenser after using it as one can really get all the gunk out8 likes5325 views - 335 views

2 weeksverified customerBe careful with this product!
I feel like I need to give everyone who is thinking about using this product a heads-up to be careful! I used this about 4 years ago about 1-2 times a week for 10 minutes each time. Now, still 4 years later, I have problems with dry and irritated skin, especially around the nostrils, and I feel like I had a lot of issues after using this product and especially developed sensitive skin that I didn't have before. During the time I used it, I was satisfied, but if I could go back, I would have been much more careful. Avoid applying the product around the nostrils is my tip.379 viewsIda

Hey, I’m wondering how I should set up my skincare routine in relation to this product. I use Cerave's foaming cleanser, The Ordinary's niacinamide, and Cetaphil's moisturizing cream in the morning and evening. Sometimes I can even add sunscreen, but now that I'm going to start with this product, I will always include sunscreen in my skincare routine.813 viewsMichaela
Customer service at Lyko1 monthHey Ida Of course, I’ll help you with that. Here’s how you could set up your skincare routine In the morning, you can start with CeraVe's Foaming Cleanser to deeply cleanse the skin. Then apply The Ordinary's Niacinamide to control oil and help with pores. Follow up with CeraVe's Moisturizing Cream to hydrate the skin. After that, apply a sunscreen preferably with spf50 In the evening, you can start by using CeraVe's Foaming Cleanser to cleanse the skin. Then apply The Ordinary's Niacinamide again, if it doesn’t feel too much for your skin. After that, use CeraVe's Moisturizing Cream for hydration. By always including sunscreen in the morning, you will protect your skin from UV rays, which is especially important when using active ingredients like niacinamide. If the new product you plan to introduce contains acids or retinol, it might be wise to be cautious about combining too many active ingredients at the same time. Good luck

2 monthsAjjjjj really!
I'm wondering if they've made any changes to the ingredients or formulation on this one? Loved it before, but since I bought my latest bottle, it has burned like crazy! I know it can happen if the skin barrier is damaged, but this has happened every time since I've used this new bottle. And I think if it burns to this degree, then it's not good. The skin is saying no. The bottles I used before (probably 3 of them) could also sting a bit on a bad day, but nothing close to this! Do you have any idea? Have you heard anyone else mention it or something? Best, Johanna 🤰4 likes530 viewsJohanna Sabine Emma Viktoria Jana
