(The video is my hair now, the pictures are from 2022/2023) I had dry and damaged hair and was then recommended this by a friend, and have bought it several times now! It gives extremely smooth hair and moisturizes deeply. I've been using it for a few years now together with the shampoo and sometimes with the conditioner, and the hair feels much more manageable, shiny, and softer! It helps against frizz and seals the hair strand, which means you don't have to use conditioner afterwards, like with some other hair masks. I also think it makes the hair lighter without weighing it down, which is a big plus for me. Love that it feels both moisturizing and strengthening at the same time, perfect if you've bleached your hair or if it's damaged and worn! It’s perfect for those who want both strengthening and moisturizing ingredients in one product. I have dry, wavy hair that needs a lot of moisture, and at the same time ends that easily wear and split. That’s why this hair mask is perfect for me. I have completely normal/medium-thick hair. I used to struggle a lot with split ends and lengths that felt dry, even though I felt I was doing everything right when it came to hair care. Then I started focusing more on the ingredients in products and tried this hair mask among others. I’ve now used it for a while and notice such a big difference! The hair became softer and less dry right after the first use. Also, there isn’t a single new split hair strand to be seen. Absolutely amazing! The hair mask contains several types of keratin that will strengthen the hair. Keratin is actually what our hair strands are made of, and it breaks down with heat and other sources of wear. It also contains shea butter, which is incredibly softening. Additionally, it contains aloe vera, which is a good and natural moisturizing ingredient. PS: For best results, I squeeze the water out of my hair before applying the mask and let it sit for at least 5 minutes. I also always use a conditioner afterward to "lock in" the hair mask and protect the ends well. If you’re considering ordering this great hair mask from Joico, I also recommend checking out Lyko’s large selection of hair oils and satin/silk products, as they are fantastic for preventing wear and drying out of the hair between washes! I’ve attached an "after photo" and a "before photo" of my hair ends. It makes the hair not feel dry or coarse, but smoother and easier to comb through. I especially like that it gives softness without the hair becoming heavy. It feels like it actually provides moisture where the hair needs it, and after use, the hair looks shinier and fresher. But I would still say this is more of a repairing mask than a moisturizing one 😊 This is also one of the treatments where I noticed a difference quite quickly. The hair just becomes more manageable and less frizzy. Do you have hair that is damaged, dry, and breaking, whether from chemical treatments, stress, or winter wear and tear, sun damage, etc.? Don’t think, just buy this now, immediately! 😄😃 You will notice a huge difference from the first use, you can physically see and feel that the hair is much stronger and soooooo soft 😍. I like to leave it in a little longer than 5 minutes, I usually have it in for about 30 minutes while I do some housework at the same time. My hairdresser also uses this in her salon 😉.
