I am SO grateful that I got myself to actually take a closer look at "Vanilla Vibes". I'm not a big fan of vanilla, so it wasn't a given. This is now a BIG favorite. Perfect balance
Fresh floral scent at the beginning, but at the same time it is a deep gourmand. Personally, I'm not super fond of floral perfumes, but to my nose, it's more vanilla and tonka than orchid. I wasn't looking for perfume at all, but I was so silly to test it when I was in the store. When I found myself sniffing my wrist all evening, I realized I just had to buy it. This will be my signature scent going forward, with Hugo Boss Deep Red in between. No vanilla
This was the third scent from Juliette Has a Gun that I tried. But there’s something about me and their scents that just doesn’t work together. The vanilla doesn’t come through at all on me, the scent becomes too chemical in some way. Unfortunately, it mostly smells like alcohol on me, a bit boring. Same thing with Miami Shake and Mmm. I’ve heard the same from others, so there must be something special about the combination of certain people and the Jhag scents that makes it not match. Mild vanilla

Vanilla with Wood
Soft and warm vanilla scent with a woody tone that I find gives me a headache. I'm not a big fan of woody scents in general, but I feel that the woodiness in this one doesn't blend well with the vanilla, hence the rating. The vanilla aspect is very cozy, but the woody notes are unfortunately too prominent for me. I feel that the woodiness fades slowly the longer the perfume sits.
