Surprisingly good
For the past few years, I have stuck to base products from MAC, Dior, and Trinny London. All three come with a hefty price tag. Sometimes I have strayed and tested a skintint here and there, but when your skin tone mostly resembles cottage cheese, it’s not super easy to find a shade that fits. So when Lyko had some of their fine offers, this little bottle ended up in my cart just like that. Dra on trissors, what a lucky purchase it turned out to be. I have dry skin, with visible pores around my nose and some fine lines around my eyes. Additionally, I tend to get shiny on my forehead during the day. The Nude Plumping Tinted Serum Foundation applies really nicely on the skin, gives a natural result, and lasts all day. As usual, it’s important to start with good skincare (I use La Roche-Posay Anthelios Uvmune Ultra Light Creme SPF 50+ as the last step before foundation). I have of course chosen the lightest shade, and even though it’s actually aaaaaaaning a bit too dark for me, I can get away with it thanks to its sheer formula. The only thing I have to note is probably the packaging. I think it’s fun to play mad scientist with a pipette and bottle, but it’s not particularly practical. I find that the pipette takes too much product out of the bottle and makes a bit of a mess around the bottle opening. Despite that, I’ve already bought a backup, because I don’t want to be without this one. For me, it works best to apply with a damp sponge, but it can also be done with fingers if needed.Translated from swedish

Lovely for «light coverage»
Very impressed with this product. It is very thin compared to most foundations and bb/cc creams on the market. It is very easy to get nice on the skin, melts in without much work. I think it would be perfect as a first foundation because it is so easy to get nice. It has light coverage, can be built up a bit, but doesn’t look nice if you take too much. I would rather go for a concealer to cover where there is a need. The only downside is the pipette, because the product is so thin it drips quickly if you want to break the pipette to distribute foundation on the face. I have therefore rather put it on the back of my hand first. I have also used it together with clinique sun kissed face-gelee complexion multitasker universal glow for extra glow.Translated from norwegian

Question!
Hi! I use this foundation, but I've been having trouble finding a primer that perfectly matches it, do you have any recommendations? 🥰 And is this product water or silicone-based? And which concealer shade from the same line would be most compatible with the foundation shade "very light"? 🤗391 views- Customer service at Lyko2 weeksHi Tiia, Thank you for your questions! 🥰 Great to hear that you found the right foundation! The Nude Plumping Tinted Serum Foundation has silicone high on the ingredient list, so I would say the product is silicone-based. It works best with silicone-based primers! Here are a few options: If you want to add more moisture and glow to your skin: lyko.com/en/makeup/face/primers/by-lyko-grip-that-glow-primer-30ml If you want to prolong your makeup and smooth out the skin's surface: lyko.com/en/makeup/face/primers/smashbox-photo-finish-smooth---blur-primer-10-ml lyko.com/en/makeup/face/primers/by-lyko-grip-that-base-primer-30ml Choosing the shade of concealer is unfortunately difficult without trying, but the shade 0.5-2 Very Light in the foundation is relatively light neutral/reddish undertone. It could match with Loreal Paris True Match Radiant Serum Concealer in shades 1N or 1.5N 🤔 However, I recommend going to test the product in a store to find the best shade! ❣️ Hope this helps 💛 Have a sunny day! 🌞

disappointing
I have to say I was very disappointed with this. I bought it in the color 1-2 rosy light as it looked like it was a bit lighter and had a more rosy undertone in the picture. When I received it, I immediately saw that it was not light and had no rosy undertone. It is very warm, almost yellow and very dark. It is so dark that I can't use it. I do not recommend this if you have slightly lighter skin and have slightly cooler undertones, as it does not match even though it looks that way in the picture.Translated from norwegian
361 views- Customer service at Lyko2 weeksHi June👋 Thank you so much for your feedback – it’s a shame that the color didn’t suit you. The experience with color tones can really vary from person to person, and I understand that it’s disappointing when the product doesn’t match the expected shade. Feel free to reach out if you want recommendations for other products or have more questions✨

Great product
I recently bought this because I wanted a lighter alternative to foundation for days when I want a more natural or quick makeup look. I was incredibly positively surprised by this, better coverage than I imagined from a skin tint type product, but still very light on the skin and looks so incredibly seamless and natural! It sits so nicely on the skin and genuinely looks like real skin! So very satisfied with the product itself💕 (just be a little cautious if you have dry skin that even though it contains hyaluronic acid, it’s not that hydrating, so just make sure to do good skin prep!) The only thing I wasn’t fully satisfied with is that the product/bottle comes half full. I don’t know if it’s supposed to be that little in it or if there was a mistake, but I think it’s a bit rude that you buy a new product and the bottle is half empty like that.. #lykoreviewTranslated from norwegian

Dry skin with lines
What steps should I take before using this? I have dry/some combination skin with very visible lines that I don't want to stand out. What prep is recommended and in what order? I’m not on top of this now that I’ve gotten older. I want glow without looking sweaty, and it shouldn't be a "heavy" makeup. Best, Frida 🌸Translated from swedish
339 views- Customer service at Lyko2 weeksHello there Frida! 👋🤍 To achieve an even and glowy base, the right skincare is A and O. Start by properly hydrating the skin by applying an essence or moisture mist 💧 lyko.com/sv/cosrx/cosrx-advanced-snail-96-mucin-power-essence--100-ml and then a serum with hyaluronic acid to boost the moisture 😍👇 lyko.com/sv/the-ordinary/the-ordinary-hyaluronic-acid-2-b5 Finish with a light moisturizer/SPF that gives radiance without feeling heavy and protects you from the strong rays of spring ☀️ lyko.com/sv/beauty-of-joseon/beauty-of-joseon-relief-sun-rice---probiotics-50-ml Before applying foundation, a primer can make a big difference depending on the result you want. A luminous primer gives a fresh glow, while a smoothing primer can blur lines and pores. You can also choose a primer that just gives you a lovely and neutral base 😍 lyko.com/sv/by-lyko/by-lyko-grip-that-base-primer-30ml When applying your True Match Foundation, take a little at a time to avoid the product settling into lines, feel free to use your fingers to warm up the product and make it melt into the skin, or a damp makeup sponge for a natural finish 🙌✨ Good luck 🥰

- Customer service at Lyko1 monthHey Theresa! ☺️ Choosing a shade based on pictures can be a bit tricky, as colors often look different in reality. I can definitely give you tips on a shade that I think fits your wish, but I can't guarantee it will be exactly like in the picture 🎨 If you have the opportunity to visit a physical store, I would really recommend it. Then you get the chance to test the products and be completely sure that you are choosing right. The shade I think fits best for what you are looking for is 2-3 Light 🩷 lyko.com/sv/loreal-paris/lor-al-paris-true-match-true-match-nude-plumping-tinted-seru5 Take care!1 likes
