Nice pen with good function
I got to test L'Oreal's Infallible Faux Brow Pen in the color dark blonde. I have very thin brows but many hairs, so it was a bit tricky on my brows. I think it looks nicer on someone who has more ”flat” brows. I liked the color and it was easy to use despite having two strokes. I was surprised at how incredibly well it stays on and still easy to wash off when it was time to remove all the makeup. Light brunette
Cool to have tried this product. I'm not completely sold, I have sparse brows and need to apply more layers for it to be even and nice. For it to work well, the color needs to dry properly before new strokes are applied, otherwise it "shifts" the already applied and it gets sticky and doesn't adhere to the skin. But I like the way to apply it and after a little wait for the color to dry and having applied it several times, I think the result turned out OK. Great product but tricky colors
As I've gotten older, my brows have gotten sparser, even though I haven't plucked them, so I wanted to try a product like this where you can draw real "hairs" and I like it! I like it a lot! But it's a bit tricky to figure out how to use it, my brows are indeed sparser now but still a bit unruly. I've found it works best if I first use a brow wax (I like the pink tube from Nyx best) where I brush my brows up, smooth them down, and shape them. Let it dry a bit and then go in with this "pen," THEN it looks great! You can draw really nice hairs! BUT the colors are difficult. They are extremely pigmented, and I, who have dark brown hair, first bought Dark brunette, but it looks almost black on me, which looks too harsh. Then I bought Light brunette but it pulls too much orange... I want an ashy brown, generally you never want brow products to be warm but rather cool in tone. Pretty okay
I was super excited to buy it, have been using it for about a week now, and I’m not exactly sure what I think. I like it but at the same time it’s not exactly what I was looking for. The first time it worked really well and I got lovely eyebrows! After that, I stored it with the cap down because I had heard that this prevents drying out. It dries out after just 3 uses even though I shake it.
