Separates & Lifts
I like that the telescopic has come in a waterproof version, so I obviously had to test it! I'm not really a fan of the original version, but this one grew on me. Positives: + Waterproof, but easy to remove + Separates the lashes nicely + Gives nice length Negatives: - Can flake a bit after a few hours of wear All in all, I can definitely buy this again. 😎 - Most helpful negative1 weekRating: 1 out of 5
Nostalgia factor but there are better and cheaper alternatives!
A little about me: long, thin, stubbornly straight, naturally dark lashes that need volume, lift, and separation! This was my favorite mascara in high school so it's a bit fun to see that it's still around and has gotten a waterproof version! The brush is very thin and angled, which makes it easy to use and is the reason why it was my favorite mascara when I was younger. The brush makes it easy to separate the lashes and have full control over the application. However, a regular "bristly" brush works better for quickly and easily adding volume. But I personally prefer a brush like this! It is, however, a bit long and straight so it can be difficult to lift the lashes, and to get all the lashes - that's where curved brushes work better. The consistency of the formula is also quite easy to handle - thin and liquid, which again gives you full control. Waterproof formula is good for avoiding mess but also a must if you, like me, have very straight and stubborn lashes. A bit hard to remove, but that's usually the case with waterproof mascaras. However, neither the formula nor the brush is particularly unique on the market (unlike what my 16-year-old self thought😅), there are, as mentioned, better brushes and better formulas. This mascara is also quite expensive for its target group/price range. For example, Essence mascaras are both better and much cheaper! Additionally, the product is not cruelty-free💔🐇 So there are definitely better alternatives out there for a much cheaper price! ➕️ Nostalgia packaging!🔭 ➕️ Brush that is relatively easy to use ➕️ Good with waterproof alternative to the original ➖️ Not a unique brush, there are better variants out there (e.g. Benefit Roller Lash is superb! Shorter and curved brush) ➖️ Not the best formula (but user-friendly) ➖️ The price!💸 ➖️ Not cruelty-free💔🐇 The review was conducted on behalf of Smartson - the test pilot was allowed to try the product for free.344 views- Lyko Creator1 weekWhat a great review! Length and durability at top class – but a bit tricky to remove
I have tested the L’Oréal Paris Telescopic Waterproof Mascara Black for a few weeks as a test pilot at Smartson. I must say that I am really impressed – but it’s not completely perfect. First of all, I love the brush, it’s narrow and a bit flexible, which means it really reaches all the small lashes. I usually have quite straight and short lashes, but with this mascara, they look significantly longer and get a nice curl that actually holds all day. The result is very defined, and the lashes are separated without clumping, which is a big plus. The consistency is light and not too dry, which allows you to build up with several layers if you want a bit more intensity. What brings my rating down is primarily the removal. Since it’s waterproof, it really sticks like glue, which is of course good at the beach or a night out – but in the evening, it can feel quite tedious to get it off completely. You need a good remover; otherwise, it can be a bit of rubbing, and that doesn’t feel very gentle on the lashes. I also noticed that it doesn’t give much volume, so if you like really full lashes, you’ll need to combine it with something else. In summary: perfect for you if you want long, separated, and durable lashes that can withstand both rain and tears. Less good if you want dramatic volume or dislike fighting with removal. For me, the rating is 4/5 – a really good everyday favorite that I will definitely continue to use!74 viewsto leave a comment - 17 hoursRating: 3 out of 5

Regular budget mascara
Telescopic was fantastic when it came out many years ago, and the waterproof version does its job, neither more nor less. However, as usual, it’s not for us with oily eyelids, as it creates a dark shadow under the eye and you look like a damn panda. But freshly applied, it looks quite okay, even though it tends to clump a bit like most budget mascaras. By the afternoon, after diligent removal under the eyes, there are a few crumbs on the cheeks. There are better ones out there, but it probably works okay if you don’t have oily eyelids. Telescopic Waterproof gives nice length, but we understand that the experience can feel different if you have oily eyelids, so thank you for sharing that. If you want to avoid flakes and shadows under your eyes, a tubing mascara or a smudge-proof formula might suit you better. Hope you find another favorite that feels better for you and that you have a really nice Friday🌞

Perfect vacation mascara
I got to test the mascara via #smartson. It was amazing to use in 38° heat (sweaty), swimming in the ocean and lakes. It held perfectly during all activities. It's easy to apply and to remove with makeup remover. I will definitely buy it here again. A very good mascara
A mascara that really delivers on its promises. The only downside is that it is very hard to remove even when using makeup remover. The review was conducted on behalf of Smartson - the test pilot was allowed to try the product for free.10 viewsto leave a comment - 1 dayRating: 3 out of 5
Such mascara
I tried the L’Oréal Paris Waterproof Mascara but wasn’t completely convinced. The consistency is quite thick, which makes it clump if you apply more than one layer. The brush separates okay but feels a bit clunky and hard to use on the shorter lashes. The color is intensely black and gives good results right away, but I didn’t feel the volume lived up to expectations. The durability is impressive – it doesn’t flake and stays put even in rain and sweat. Unfortunately, this also makes removal difficult; it requires both time and a powerful remover. For me, it became more impractical than usable in everyday life. Test mascara
The brush is very thin and angled, which makes it easy to use. The brush makes it easy to separate the lashes and have full control over the application. The consistency of the formula is also quite easy to handle. The mascara has a nice deep black color. Stays great but is a bit hard to wash off! Had higher expectations
The mascara has a nice deep black color. It said it would be suitable for sensitive eyes, but for me, it itched and eczema flared up around my eyes the next day + Slim and good brush + Stays like a rock and can handle a night out - It was hard to get the lashes nicely separated and it got quite messy - It itched a lot - The lashes didn't stay up during the day but mostly got weighed down The review was conducted on behalf of Smartson - the test pilot was allowed to try the product for free.243 views- Skin therapist at Lyko19 hoursHi Linn!
