If you are looking for a lip stain that will not budge, then you will love this! It looks like a whiteboard marker, or like a felt tip eyeliner. The tip is extremely sharp and you can get a very precise line with this. You can also use the flat side of the pen to cover large areas. I have the shade 01 Everyone's Nude Pink. I am very pale, so on me it looks like quite a dark cool toned red/pink, that fades into a more natural pink color. I added a few videos to give you an idea. Once it dries it's not going anywhere. I even showered with this on! You can remove a little bit of the colour with micellar water, but a stain will still remain. It does feel really drying on the lips, l can't lie. It almost makes the lips feel "tight" so please use a balm or lip oil after this! Some stains only cling to the dry bits in the lips, but l find that this one applies uniformly and looks good even on dry winter lips. Like with a lot of Essence products, the quality you get for such a low price is just insane. I received my Essence Tattoo lip liner, 01 Nude Pink today. So it was good to apply, but wow - no "nude" here!! It is really super bright pink!! Like when you use a marker
These lip stains are like a marker you used when you were little. Holds about as long before it completely dries up. I got mine home not too long ago and have managed to use this about 5 times before it starts to dry. The pen is super easy to work with, but I don't like the colors I've tried: 02 Must have brown pulls a bit yellow on me. 03 Make a mauve pulls a bit purple on me. Since the price is still low, I thought "eh, I'll take a chance!". However, I was extremely disappointed. It's hard to apply. It's like watercolor that chooses to fall in certain spots on the lips, and not others. I have tried it three times, but each time I've had to slather on makeup remover to sadly take it off. The color itself is also not at all what the pictures show. It's darker and not at all even. Feels like a product for kids to put on the makeup doll of the past. Very nice colors that are easy to apply and last a good while! The downside is that the color 01 nude-pink that I received leaks, which makes it run out quickly, is dry to apply, and makes a lot of mess. I haven't experienced this with the other colors yet.1 product in post Delicious729 views
