If you are looking for a lip stain that will not budge, then you will love this! It looks like a whiteboard marker, or like a felt tip eyeliner. The tip is extremely sharp and you can get a very precise line with this. You can also use the flat side of the pen to cover large areas. I have the shade 01 Everyone's Nude Pink. I am very pale, so on me it looks like quite a dark cool toned red/pink, that fades into a more natural pink color. I added a few videos to give you an idea. Once it dries it's not going anywhere. I even showered with this on! You can remove a little bit of the colour with micellar water, but a stain will still remain. It does feel really drying on the lips, l can't lie. It almost makes the lips feel "tight" so please use a balm or lip oil after this! Some stains only cling to the dry bits in the lips, but l find that this one applies uniformly and looks good even on dry winter lips. Like with a lot of Essence products, the quality you get for such a low price is just insane. Strong color 😱
I received my Essence Tattoo lip liner, 01 Nude Pink today. So it was good to apply, but wow - no "nude" here!! It is really super bright pink!! I had imagined a completely different shade, I must say, this unfortunately will not be used...21401 views- The comment was made 3 monthsI think it looks super nice on you! 😍 A little tip that might help if you think the color is too strong: You can try to blend it out with your finger in sections - for example, you can start by drawing a 1/4 of the upper lip like with a lip liner, and then blend the color inward before it dries ☺️🫶2 likes

I have the color "make a mauve," it's nice and I love the results but it's a bit too purple for me. Dry as heck
I like essence and their budget-friendly products and haven’t tried anything from the brand before that I didn’t like. After all the great reviews I read about the Lip N’ Stain lipliner, expectations were high and the color Make a Mauve looked so pretty. It really is in real life too! But, and this is a big BUT. Unfortunately, the color is so dry that it’s impossible to apply. No color comes out at all, even if you press quite hard. The whole pencil feels like it has dried out, so it had to go straight in the trash. Even though the lipliner was cheap, I at least expected to get some color from it. I've tried other brands of the same type of lip pencil, but essence wins. I bought all three colors precisely because they are so good. Tip: after applying, let them dry. Then apply lip gloss or the lip product you want.
